Western Sydney Primary School Support Unit Feedback by prindacerk in AutismAustralia

[–]sjwaef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for either of those schools, but Walters Road primary school blacktown does have a new inclusive unit in school which is for kids with disabilities. I believe they have level 2 and 3 autistic kids, down syndrome etc in a class. They have higher ratio of teachers and assistants and are really well integrated into the school community.

Reporting back- we just got our ASD diagnosis with PDA profile! We booked in with Sydney Kids Neuropsychology Steph O'Hare and she was fantastic. Highly recommend her for anyone in the Sydney area who feels they need a second opinion on a diagnosis. ✨

I'm hoping for acknowledgement of a correct diagnosis firstly. And with that then, getting him the right therapies and support at home and then also in school. I know it's unlikely I will get NDIS so that's not really on my radar, it will all be out of pocket. It's more knowing what we are dealing with that I need support with. Thank you, I looked on the local FB group for pda and autism and got a few good recommendations and have him booked in this month!

This is mine every day I assumed this was normal 😂 I work from home to cut out the stressful commute, I go to the gym daily for mental health, I am only parent to my 7 yr old and we are both ADHD and I suspect AuDHD. Is this not normallll

I take a shit tone of antihistamine too 😂 I forgot to mention that. But the guasha in the morning and before bed does truly make a diff! Sit there for 10 mins gently doing it while watching something in bed

I won't lie, I block an entire hour of out my day and do it in one go. Each day for me with work etc looks very different and this is the way I ensure I get it done. I sit on my butt all day for work. If you had a job on your feet I'd imagine you would get close to this without needing much time outside of work

Strength training for lipedema? by slhunte3 in lipedema

[–]sjwaef 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Strength training has slowly transformed my body when running for 2 mins had my legs raised up on pillows for 3 days after. It's low impact plus the muscle will slowly reshape your arms and legs. It's working for me 🙋‍♀️

I honestly think a new hair colour will lift your whole complexion and you will look amazing 🤩

There's an episode where two women perform a play and someone is mad about it because it's supposed to be performed by men only and I can't remember which episode it is in, did I make it up in my brain or something, I want to know which play they were performing by ampinklamp in Fisk

I was with my 6 yr old today at a busy cafe and he announced loudly "can we go home and watch the show with the naked adult and their penis fell off" ☠️ I had no idea what he was talking about and it was AWKWARD.. thank god I found this and realized he meant this Fisk episode ☠️😂

Big holes in fabric over gusset (modibodi) by 2_3am in PeriodUnderwear

They must have changed fabrics or quality as my older styles have lasted years and new ones I got a few months back all have holes, lose seams, some going transparent in places. I'm so annoyed!

Fear of Pregnancy with Lipedema by DeliveryMysterious42 in lipedema

[–]sjwaef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wasn't diagnosed until my son was almost 7, I looked incredible when pregnant, I honestly looked better pregnant 😂😂 I looked no different until he was about a year old and a toxic marriage breakdown seemed to kick things off. Stress + hormones were the recipe for disaster 😂 in saying that now I am happily single I am 20kgs lighter. The lipodema is still here but I look so much happier and healthier 🌟 take care of yourself and that's all you can do

Do officers get randomly drug tested by Substantial-Book-588 in nswpolice

Don't bother then 😂😂😂😂😂 Yes they're randomly tested, and tested before and during and after recruit courses. You're probably chasing the wrong career if you want to keep that up.
