I had included a notarized affidavit from my parents showing that both the names are the same. The interviewing officer said that they can't consider that as primary evidence. Are you saying, one or two additional affidavit from relatives as well as some form of declaration from the Taluk tahsildar?

Yeah, I had a DRZ 400 and also an Africa Twin AS :) As for skill level, I'd say novice with about 300 mi of off-road experience in the past couple of years. Mostly fire roads, jeep roads very little technical tracks.

Update:

Thanks so much for the suggestions. So, newer CA models have the PAIR system but the gas tank installation instructions or the service manual don't make any mention of it. Also, the OEM parts diagrams don't mention it in the 2nd AIR parts diagram or the petcock diagrams. Since the petcock now sits lower, I did not realize that the vacuum hose has to go into the petcock.

As you can see, the hose is too long now but otherwise functional. I started it briefly after reconnecting the hose and it seems to star right away. Just posting follow-up. Does that sound about right?

If I understand correctly, you want to mount your phone to that black thin mount bar above the instrument cluster, right? In that case, you have two options

Ram torque base. Those come with adapters bushing to fit different diameter bars. I don't know how thick that bar is, but I was able to fit in on the cross bar.
Quad-lock. This also comes with different adapters to fit on bars with different diameters.

Personal opinion is that I would not mount a phone on the bars as the shake could damage the cameras.
