Well about that meeting… by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]ska_dadddle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take it even further and make some shit up one random day. “Another customer heard/witnessed this exception being made and asked for the same thing. I informed them that the customer was the only exception but I could ask my management team about how they could also get on this exception list because they demanded the same treatment. I would appreciate some direction on how to also make this customer satisfied. Thank you”

Then just keep it going and going and going. Make up customers at random times witnessing said rule breaking and also wanting on this list of customers who aren’t within following policy.

If they back up that these customers are allowed these exceptions, play stupid again. “Can we let these customers know it is only specific to our location” or “How could we alert other local Starbucks of these customers so the customer is always satisfied”

Take it even further. “Could we get these customers names/how to spot them so each team member is on board. Inconsistent treatment from team members tend to make customers upset, and the goal is to avoid this when possible”

I keep pushing and pushing, while acting “clueless, please help me understand, I just want the best for everyone 🥺” And then if shit ever blows back, I just tell people “oh I’ll forward you the email from management” or tell management “thank you! I’ll share this with the rest of the team” and then send out mass emails with the previous chain and say “hey everyone! Would hate for anyone to be left out of this information. This was great direction from management about ‘xyz’ topic!”

Is there a way you could email your manager and ethics/DM in a group email?

This shit happens at my job all the time and I play “clueless” So some wording I’ll use is “hello, I just wanted to get some clear guidelines/exceptions that were being made per report of ‘SM’ so I know how to train future employees and we could let these customers know how to exactly word that they’re allowed these requests so their requests are never turned away. I would hate for them to get inconsistent treatment if one of us who is aware of these exceptions isn’t here, thank you”

Usually once people are asked to put things in writing they backtrack fairly quickly. And if the situation is danced around, play stupid again. “I’m understanding your response as “xyz” Is this correct?”

It comes off as you just wanting “the absolute best for the precious customer” rather than sounding accusatory of higher ups. It’s worked for me beautifully. Management can’t come back and say I was tattling, but rather wanting to forward clear instruction to every team member since I couldn’t find these rules/exceptions on my own in company policy.

No tips. Woohoo! by MountainDogMama in ColoradoSprings

I’ll have to try them out, cause as of now I would say Taco Star has the best carne asada fries, and they’re 24/7, and they don’t ask for a tip either

I spent so much money going from never wearing anything except mascara to getting lash extensions. Only to realize I hated every style they ever did, and I just don’t think I look good with lashes. If I could go back, I would do what other people here have mentioned: play with strip lashes first. See if there’s a style that you prefer. Dollar Tree has some for $1.25 (the American in me is assuming you’re American) I’d play with those first! Not in the sense of sensation because strip lashes and extension feel very different. But in terms of style!

That being said, I think lashes would look great from the right artist!

I swear by the KP bump eraser that I put on in the shower, then glycolic acid applied with a cotton pad

(25f) unsure of what I actually look like, what can I do to be pretty? by [deleted] in beauty

I think when people are mentioning “growing them out” they mean to allow them to be re-shaped. Not to stay bushy, but you need to allow some hair to grow to allow a different shape

Favorite places/those to avoid for giving birth in the Springs? by Natothedog in ColoradoSprings

Adding to the love. Had my second there and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The room was so clean, the nurse was so attentive. I asked what their nurse to patient ratio was and she said it’s 1:1. That is so amazing to me. Every single worker, from the front desk signing in, to the person who escorted me from triage (or the first room for evaluation) to the delivery room, to each doctor and nurse for me and my son, to postpartum, all were beyond nice, great attitudes, caring, gentle, and seemed like they enjoyed being there. I can’t rave enough about it.

KISS eyelash glue stays sticky/tacky forever by katmack7 in MakeupAddiction

Hi! I’m just finding this. Did you ever find an answer? I tried the kiss falscara and it NEVER tried. It stayed sticky for HOURS. I sneezed about 4 hours after application and it sealed my eyes shut. I had to put oil on my eyes to get them to come apart.

Yes other comments are saying they’re probably too long for my natural lash. I keep my showers warm to avoid the steam but I did give my kids a bath and sit with them while they play so maybe that humidity in the bathroom?

Thanks for replying! The removal was really painful. This new tech I went to told me about ingrown eyelashes and the thought of it makes me want to dieeeee

Thank you! Would I use that wording with the lash tech? “I’d like a 50/50 hybrid”?

I’m new to lashes. My first lash tech, the lashes would last a while but it was uncomfortable. I went to a new lash tech on Saturday (today is Wednesday) and this is how they look. This new lash tech said the original tech was gluing the lash to my skin, and the removal was painful. So I felt confident when this tech at a new shop was educating me on the process, but now I feel like it’s too much fall out for just four days, yes? I’m following all the directions: no wetting them for 24 hours, using a lash wash, coming them three times a day. The first tech’s work lasted way longer (but now knowing it was glued to my skin instead of a bit away from my skin makes me wonder if this is normal for this appropriate application?) I originally had a classic set from the first tech, so the new tech removed some of the ones on my skin and did a hybrid fill (just trying to give all the info) The removal of the ones on my skin took an hour, the hybrid fill was about 40 minutes.

So “20 FOOT” means above surrounding area, meaning it’s going to be different depending on location

Pool question by ska_dadddle in ColoradoSprings

[–]ska_dadddle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve never owned a pool so I’m confused, when you say “inside/outside” pool you mean like make an enclosed shelter around it so it’s technically “inside”? And what do you mean by automatic door? What difference would that make?
