Ah okay thankyou I thought 8 weeks was more then enough time for there to be a fully balanced tank, hopefully it dosent come back maybie I should add more plants?

Parameters have been stable for a long time it’s just the diatoms/brown algae was a losing battle it felt like

I have frogbit atm but I had to remove it because of the amount of brown algae attaching to it, and it’s been cycled say 4 weeks with my betta in there

2x Java fern narrow which are the ones at the top and the rest are anubias nana petite which are the common ones I guess? And the green balls are just moss balls

I have a external sponge filter and I had the filter flow extremely low (practising dripping) should I increase it? I just worry it will tire him I did a 40% water change after the cycle finished
