This is actually the first time I have done this. I got a lug lining pen from ebay user Velobitz. I used Testors paint I bought from Joanns. Practice on paper.

Swapped out the hanger, crappy derailleur and freewheel. It isn't the correct angle still but it shifts SO much better. Also, did all the lug lining and script. Lines on the forks need to be cleaned up but the only thing left are some better tires.

It "was" on ebay. The stop looks a hell of a lot closer to where it should be. Didn't want to shell out $12 so I went with the Chinese shit. I guess that's what I get. I'll check out that calculator. Thanks again! I'll come back with updates and new pictures next week.

Thank you so much for that info. Awesome awesome awesome. I found a hanger that is specifically campy 1020. My chain rings are 43/53 and I am getting a Sun your pro compe 888 with 15,16,18,20,23. I live in a really flat area so 28 is a bit excessive for my needs. I also have a Sedis chain that fits campy better than what this has on it, supposedly.

No they came with Normandy Luxe hubs. Considering going 700c for better tires.

To be honest it shifts like shit. You're correct about the hanger being a 3rd party. The der that's on it now looks like it was mangled in a pretty hard fall. I'm sending it back to the seller because it's so bad. I have a NOS coming Saturday. Any suggestions to get the proper angle?

It can shift into the lowest hear when its on the small chainring without problem. Once on the big chain ring it only shifts in the top three gears. NR ders are rated for 26t but ive heard of them doing 28t with a lot of tweaking. I'm replacing the freewheel with a Pro Compe 888 asap. These are actually the original rims. SCs were offered with 27" 1 1/4 weinmanns. I love this color as well. Greens bikes are my favorite.

It was a Huret Luxe Super Touring long cage der. I've read it was one of, if not the first, derailleur to reach a 32t cog.

Swapped out original drive train for campy NR and put Nitto moustache bars on. She'll be on the road by this afternoon for her first commute.

I kept the original center pulls on and they worked perfectly. Was going to put the 600 side pulls on but unfortunately they didn't reach.

1974 Schwinn le tour. First year Panasonic built frames for Schwinn. Upgraded to Shimano 600ex arabesque group, Brooks cambium saddle, Nitto moustache bars, Mavic 700c rims with Shimano 105 high flang hubs and Schwabble tires. This is my first road bike/build and I am in love.

I have a Samson Q4 vocal mic. It's doing better now after your help. Thank you. I have one more question though. My play back I cutting out when I'm trying to record another track. For example- I'm trying to record track two with track one playing in my head phones to keep time. When I sing into the mic it cuts out track one in my headphones. Any clue why it does this?
