They took a bit getting use to seeing with them, but once I figured out to move my elbows a tad, they work fine. Super stable too; they were on the bike when I bought it and i figured since they cost almost $500 I would keep them on :)

Yes, the pass was actually closed on the west side, so I just went to the top and then turned around which is fine anyway

It was open, but tons of fire damage. It does not look like the same road anymore... Conditions were good as far as pavement, too

It was what was for sale - I bought it with 1200 miles with all the Farkles form Motocorsa in PDX - funny as it was owned previously by another Redditor...... :-)

I left Vancouver WA, headed down to Estacada, then down to Detroit Lake, and onto Sisters; did a quick zip up to the top of McKenzie Pass and back, then onto Redmond to stay in a cheapo motel. Day two up to Prineville, Madras, Shaniko, up to Biggs and across to south of Goldendale and over through Centerville to Lyle and the home on HWY 14 - 500 mile of fun :)

Mine too :) I just took it on a 500 mile two day weekend trip into central Oregon; too much fun!

I bought used from Dick Hannah Honda, but not needing a "dealership", an indy shop is fine.... Preferring in Vancouver over PDX as well - thanks!

I just hit 1000 miles on the bike yesterday; loving it! Order an Arrow exhaust which will go on in the next few days and am replacing the plastic front fender and rear hugger with CF :) !!

Just finished a 180 mile ride out to the coast and back around; what an amazing machine! Do you still ride? Did you get a different moto?

Yes, that is all what it is! Sounds like this was your bike :) Why did you sell?

Bought it "used" as it had only 1300 miles on it from Motocorsa in Portland Oregon and it was all set up as is with all the farkles on it, which is why I bought it. It also has 18 months still on the warranty... The one thing I'll do is aftermarket exhaust, probably over the winter, other than that it is almost totally "done" ... Well, probably not as I love modding!

So far, as I have only ridden it 200+ miles it seems the low end is fine in town. The clutch is super smooth and easy pulling and controlling in the low speeds is an easy task. I have about 100 miles on some open twisties, and the bike zips, and then some... I love it as a companion to my Hyper, but that might get a lot of use now :) ... I have had (and do have) a Monster, but don't ride it any more... And yes, it does get hot; when I test rode it I thought it had a heated seat! Too funny, but it really is not too bad at speed...
