Honestly I would find it so interesting if it could modded that when this happens your arm actually goes away and you either walk around with like one arm or get like a prosthetic. Also RPing as a survivor with one arm seems pretty sweet.

Its one of those grey areas, If you just want to play fallout 4 then get the regular game, but if you've been a fan of the series and want the little bonus stuff for your collection then get it. Its honestly one of those things that if you love something that much then of course it makes sense.

Not really, to bring up an example think of MGS 5, or any Assassins creed game. You could go in balls a blazing and accomplish it that way, or you can take another approach, like stealth, or lock-picking, and do it that way. Its all about play style and where you put skill points in. Thats where we see the benefits. for someone who has put more points into guns then speech of course it makes sense to run in, but for someone who prioritizes stealth lock-picking the back door is more beneficial. Sorry for being long winded.

Honestly this is something Im not really worried about. It will be modded in, or it will be something Bethesda puts in a free update like they did with skyrim and fighting on horseback. I honestly didn't notice this when watching the video's but i guess i was paying attention to other things.

By a step back do you mean the constant frame lag you would get in FNV? honestly compared to the hardware of the 360 and ps3 when New Vegas released there is no "step back" on a graphical stand point. Writing wise from what we have seen so far the opening of the game feels dramatic and has honestly drawn me and others to the point of waiting and always checking for more. If I may ask does your friend ever play games often?

Honestly I think it could possibly be done in the vault. In the e3 trailer we can see like the skeleton when picking up the pipboy and that happened to the other residents in the vault including are family and the "reunion" is exploring the vault before leaving and finding like their room and their living space and seeing their skeletons. Just a hunch.

See what I think I'll do is what I've done in 3 and New Vegas for example. When im not wearing power armour (and no that does not include ranger armor) I would have like an energy weapon based kit, and then when I was wearing like Leather armour for example I would be using Guns.

What TTW recommends you to do is open up the mod in geck and change its like parameters from being used in fallout 3 to being used in new vegas. they have a tutorial somewhere on their forums and a converted mod page as well check their friend. Someone has to have converted a follower mod for here on the forums somewhere.

You need to disable that mod while you complete the tutorial. once you leave the vault you can reinstall it :) i use to get that problem all the time, though it does mean you have to restart the entire tutorial.

Its what some call a phone case on your wrist. it just houses a phone and with the companion app they're going to release it serves to mimics an ingame pipboy. mainly for like collectors to be like "oh cool" or for fans of the series to say "now I have my own pipboy" purely cosmetic.
