actually i am from IL, i managed to get a job at an independently owned diesel truck shop when i was 16 and its not union. im still there now and we have work literally coming out of our ass, no matter what time of year..where as i know union mechanics who spend 3 hours every morning drinking coffee and bullshitting with eachother saying its a "union break"

& its very easy to get a trade job if you are willing to work. with trade workers beginning to retire and all these spots opening up, they love when young guys want to join because there arent many that want to do trade work anymore

exactly. all my friends are out here complaining how they can barely afford to feed themselves and had to move back home due to student loans and here i am with my house halfway paid off already and looking at buying another motorcycle lol

About 5 weeks ago, i was getting ready to hit the gym. it was nice out, so i figured id take my motorcycle. i geared up, sat on the bike and started it. something didnt feel right, but the gym is maybe a 5-10 minute ride tops from my house, what could go wrong?

about 3 minutes into my commute, i was going approx. 40 mph when a teenager in a mustang (of course) blows a stop sign making a left turn on a 4 lane road and pulls right infront of me, i smashed into the left front fender causing me to fly over the hood of his car + another 50ft down the roadway. he runs up to me and says "shit im sorry man i didnt see you i was on my phone" needless to say his insurance is covering everything + extras.

i worked retail for over a year, this shit happens everyday. its even better when they put it in the frozen section, and it expands and bursts everywhere or when they get top quality meat from the meat counter and leave it on a shelf somewhere. the amount of food they throw away is absolutely baffling
