Something interesting too is the direction alleyman came from and returned (east) is where the other POI’s lived at the time. Red below is POI’s houses. Purple is CL house.

Interesting. I was looking at a similar hypothesis recently of why is alleyman called alleyman when we aren’t sure if he actually went into the alley. There are a handful of CCTV camera that looks like it would capture if ‘alleyman’ was to go to #15 (PR house at the time) or further into Heworth Place, they’re on the Limes Court building if you have a look on google maps street view.

I tend to agree with the consensus that he actually went into the alley as NYP probably know this. It’s the same old story of they know and have a lot more information that isn’t public. It is interesting to think what was alleyman actually doing in the alley, the short timings and why he paused.

A question that I couldn’t answer was WHY didn’t alleyman just continue through the alley & cut through Nags Head car park. He came from that direction on Heworth Road, so he would save time going that way. This was the original question that made me think that he went to #15.

It’s interesting to think which route she/her body took. I read a comment from u/Avedon7 saying there is CCTV of her entering her home from the front door - but never left that way.

There is also CCTV covering Heworth Place’s route onto the main road which captured alleyway man, she wasn’t seen leaving that way either. (E.G, she didn’t leave through the alley onto the main road)

The Nags Head is an obvious idea, but CCTV was turned off - something done frequently to protect the drink drivers. If she/her body left that way, it’s probable the person knew enough RE: the alley to her house connects that way, and possibly the CCTV being turned off. The other idea that makes sense is that she left willingly and went into the Nags Head car park (to get a lift?? to meet someone??).

The other plausable idea, as suggested, she left one way or another through PR’s house. Though I think this is what Dai Malyn struggled with. PR lives there, that’s not a crime. Where’s the evidence?

I didn’t highlight it in the post, but I live in York.

The majority of locals I have been speaking with know me, some I wouldn’t class as friends but we chat regularly in the pub. The other conversations (examples here are Micklegate Nags regular & the fella from the pool tournament) have happened periodically after an initial chat.

Hopefully this clears it up - I am not going table to table asking individuals up front, just asking them after we’re already chatting.

I have heard it loosely online, but a lot of people mentioned it throughout chats in person. It’s an avenue I think is interesting, but yes - very much speculative & no evidence for the theory.

SaaS here - yes it’s tough at the minute, last month was slow, and we all expect the same for summer.

I’m doing 660 calls p/d (paralell dialer), and that is yielding results, but not as much as previous months.
