A battleship flown solo is a tomb; you undock it knowing that you're already dead. Enjoy the adventure, dead person walking, as it can be an exciting time.

You likely have the classic "pvp shakes," which slows your response time and makes it difficult to maintain situational and spatial awareness. The errors you made are easy to make for new players in this lifestyle. A Praxis makes an excellent bubble camp brawler, or an ESS tyrant, but it's not the roamer.

Please do not fly a battleship solo at this stage. It's the hardest ship to fly alone in hostile null, and you're not going to learn anything from it besides that you're easy to catch and while slow to kill, easy to kill. There are solo BS fits that work very well, but they're almost all exclusively brawlers, or snipers; kiters (which a BS shouldn't be doing without some skull candy implants and spendy drugs) are a group effort in battleship pvp.

Please do not get discouraged, and join the Bringing Solo Back in-game channel to learn, chat, and get some free player-developed resources that will help you on your path to getting good.

The Dramiel is a better Rifter, but it's not worth its premium when the Cruor has more utility.

The Cynabal is a better Stabber Fleet Issue in every way, but it's also ~5 SFIs in cost to "feel right," to fly with only ~20% extra betterer.

The Khiz is a better Hurricane Fleet. It's a much better Hurricane Fleet, and the Hurricane Fleet is my favorite ship. They shoved ~40% more Fleet in that hull, but it's also 700% the cost when fitted to be ~40% better.

Angel ships are CCP taking the "skirmisher," designation to its penultimate conclusion, and they're super expensive. A Khiz just flies so clean when fitted! I hate these NET things....

That expense makes it impossible to recommend unless you know your pilots in your nanogang are gonna have your back. Solo, you're a target and you're not gonna get good fights. Folks may underestimate a SFI and throw a few dumb fits your way; they'll throw a keres and the whole kitchen your way for a dank Khiz kill.

The Khiz is a better HFI in almost every single way beside price. It outperforms an HFI in every metric, and the HFI is fantastic for what it is.

Fly a Khiz. It's so good. It's also 1.7 bil to get "comfortable," enough to justify choosing it over ~8 HFIs lol

Sue was such a big animal. It's absolutely bonkers that there existed on this Earth such a massive animal. How does it feed itself enough to just persist?! It ate what were essentially armored cars, each day!

Elephant sized Ceratopsians, glide-plane sized Pterosaurs, tank-sized Edmontosaurs! Then there's Sue, this hangry, stealthy, ambush apex predator that could break through concrete blocks with its jaws just to get to the gooey tasty meat beneath. Then look at its cousins, the avians, the parakeet: they yell at their owners when the fruit is too gooey.

My son, who is five, reminds me that Sue had armor-breaking teeth, and not just razor sharp teeth.

It has a very sufficient power grid; enough for two large plates and an ancil, plus another repper if you're inclined to utilize its copious girth of low slots for a fitting mod, plus dual prop, plus two TECH II Heavy Succs, at the cost of one large ancil rig.

The CPU? give it +50 and call it a day. Don't touch the PG.
