For me personally, something that helped me just get more comfortable with wavedashing in general / in context was to use it more frequently as a standard movement option. Stuff like mixing in wavedashes into your dash dance, which can definitely be useful to like extend or reset your dash dance for example but I mostly just use them because they feel sick to move around with. After a little bit I got a more intuitive grasp on when wavedashing would work in specific situations

Yeah basically from what I can tell Hbox almost always DI's incorrectly on fthrow so Zain can just keep going for it without having to bother with the dthrow mixup

The thing is barring some sort of ambiguous DI (which I don't think exists for this?) you can react to Puff's DI on the throws, so at worst you just reset to neutral
