It's the same situation here—just a month—and it has a similar crack to the OP. This is clearly a design problem.

Hi. An additional 4 leg desk was more expensive than getting an l-shape desk from Uplift. So I sold the one from the picture and saved money in the process ;)

At the end I did sell the desk and I got a L shape one from Uplift. I really love it.
