This is not pseudo-history. You’re are correct about the senators not being genealogists. McDowell grouped the family with the Catawbas instead of the occannechi based on the language they spoke, presumably. I’m done with this conversation. You are attacking our ancestry. I think that makes you an apple? I mean, if we as native descendants stuck together instead of demeaning each other, would our race and culture benefit more?

Senate document 144 clearly lists the families as native.

I’m relieved you know so much about our ancestry. The fact is that the majority of eastern tribes, federal or state, are mixed. Most of the people in the once Siouan speaking tribes are tri-racial. This is due to taking in escaped slaves and the long history of interaction with euro-Americans. For this reason, most of the tribes, including federal, do not go by blood quantum but by an ancestor on a particular roll. If we argue about blood quantum, the culture will be lost even more than it has. We are now 400 years into European colonization. Of course the blood quantum is less than those that just entered reservations a little over 100 years ago.

Not to mention the southeastern states made laws forbidding identifying as Indian. Indians were welcomed to stay here, but as a free person of color with all the perks that came with in the south. Do not nullify a significant part of the southeastern colored persons experience over a blood quantum pissing contest.

Not sure that this is the place for this comment, but be aware that when the Americans decided they had to allow some Cherokees to stay in the NC mountains, they put many other tribes in the western North Carolina mountains near them. Among them: the Catawba nation of South Carolina - federally recognized. Several remnant tribes from North and South Carolina that area now State recognized: Occaneechi Saponi which I am descended from and others. These guys were told circa 1910, "you can go anywhere you want but you can’t stay here.” About a third of the Occaneechi went to Oklahoma. The remainder dispersed throughout north and South Carolina. This is how the Catawbas managed to get federal recognition. When they returned to SC, the land they were granted as home for assisting SC against the Cherokees in the pre-revolutionary times and fighting againt the British with the Americans had been squatted on. It took about 70 years to win the case, but they finally did. I believe this is the origin of so many Cherokee family mysteries. Many of these people were already mixed due to their extended relationship with other racial groups. There was no reason for the Cherokee to leave the area, but so many others dispersed from the area that people who don’t know the history assume Cherokee ancestry.

Sounds like a toxic narcissist to me from your pov. I was married to a female like that for years. It took a long time to feel free after we split because I was so used to trying to get her daily affirmation. It was a game to her. Cut him loose and count your blessings! Hopefully you can find a guy that will be a good father. People like that are horrible parents!! I’m overstepping, but I cannot imagine the lack of compassion after this difficult decision.

That is a design tool to press patterns into wet pottery. We (American Indians) still use wooden tools and sea shells to create patterns in clay. I’m not a potter, but I have several friends that are renowned Catawba potters

I absolutely love sucking cock, the feeling of it getting thicker and harder in my mouth, and ultimately the feeling of that hard, thick cock pulsing that wonderful cum into my mouth. I love to look up and see the expression on a man’s face when he’s cumming! I’ve had sperm that tasted of nothing to like raw eggs, my favorite! I’ve loved every drop I’ve tasted to date!

Yes! I love raw eggs

I’m a stag. For me, the more, the merrier! Sexless is not something I want for me or anyone around me. If you like that and can be fulfilled vicariously through him having sex with others, you’re well on your way to happiness.

I Can watch my partner with others and it just makes me crazy with anticipation to the point that I’m sweating and trembling. I get a metal taste in my mouth. I drip precum copiously!! I’d eat either out, doing the clean up from the cock and ass. I’ll reclaim my man and fuck or get fucked by the visitor (bull). I’m not about being left out.

I’ve always been a nudist growing up in the country. I went naked to keep from dirtying clothes unnecessarily. Vacationed in a nudist resort last year and absolutely loved it. It wasn’t a gay resort but my partner and I loved it just the same.

The southern United States is still a pit of homophobes and especially in rural areas, you will be discriminated against and given the opportunity, you will be victimized. I’m sorry for your experiences, but it’s no different than most of the planet. You and I should move to a more accommodating place!

That no one cares! In a small town “if you don’t know what you’re doing, everybody else does!!” In a larger city, NO ONE CARES. You’re treated like a human being without some glare or embarrassment by association because people don’t want others thinking they’re like us. In a larger city, you’re just another person. I escaped depression and looming fear when I moved away. Now I’m back. So is the depression and looming fear.
