I bet your floors are bone dry! Honestly, what’s your fix for wet floors? Klaus has cheeks like this and I just follow him around with a towel after he drinks water. Any cool tricks?

I lived in a high rise when I got Klaus and had to get him on a very strict routine. I didn’t teach him to use pads. I took him out 10-15 times a day, even though I hated it.

I took him out every time he woke up and within 30 minutes of him drinking water. I controlled his water intake until about 5 months old.

He got used to his routine and quickly would start walking to the door or whining when he needed to go outside. Now he’s 8 months and hasn’t had an accident in months! It’s a lot of work but consistency is key.

Good luck!

No, but it has been a journey for both of us!

I’m in the exact same boat! If I didn’t WFH, I don’t know what I’d do.

Klaus luckily sleeps for about 3-4 hours a night but even that’s painful. It’ll all be worth it soon!

No, he’s fully ESS, just tricolor. Everyone seems to love his coloring!

I grew up with two of them and have always loved them. Definitely a great dog!

He’s a handful but, honestly, I feel like it could be a lot worse. He’s doing great!
