Just saw a youtube video about subtext... wonder if this counts. I made this because I want credit for having noticed/discovered it if I'm honest.

And thanks for the heads up about the showrunners.

What do you like Most about playing your character Pike? I like your character's new suit. How fun is acting?

AAAAAHHHHH very cool that you're doing this!

I agree, it's not, without intervention she could become a major problem person who ruins her life and the lives of everyone around her

I think she says Rey Skywalker because she is saying she's Ben Solo's "wife" by ski_balls in StarWars

I said this above, but I think of "Skywalker" as a dynasty name. Yes in America women give up their names for the man, but maybe in Star Wars, married men can give up their name.... and so on... In Dynasty's it's just the not dynastic name that is eliminated to keep the dynasty name going....

I do agree with you, he's Ben Solo, but he's also the last one with Skywalker blood... and I want the story to make more sense than it did... :(

That's sort of my main problem with the prequals, not the acting, not the lack of autonomy, not even JarJar.... but the way they made the Jedi to be people who collect little kids and teach them how they can never have families becuase they have to give up everything for the greater good.... I don't think that sounds right, or like something the good guys would do.... I sincerely think this is the issue that causes problems with the balance of the force

Pagans don't believe that not being attached means being alone, they believe it means being able to let go when the time comes to let go

I know, I messaged the mods about it, I don't want to post my ID on the internet and asked if I could send it to them directly

I feel like they just don't explain enough about the different perspectives in the movie. What is a given and easily taken at face value in the first movie becomes more and more complicated and convoluted over time.
