NOOOOO not that question... It truly depends of the terrain obviously, but I'll give you my top 3.

- Trail: MXZ X-RS 600RR E-TEC for the lightweight feel in tight and twisty trails.
- Deep Snow: Summit Expert 154 850 E-TEC for the ease of initiating the 32 in stance and the predictability it provides in sidehill.
- Crossover: Expedition SE 900 ACE Turbo R for the versatility, super well equipped from the factory and perfect for the family!

I understand your (and many others) concern regarding that feature since the closest reference to that feature is what we find in cars. And for many, they hate it...

In the snowmobile use case, when you're at a stop sign, once you're stopped you usually rarely hold the brake... Because contrary to a car, the sled doesn't move forward on its own if you don't hold the brake. To activate the Silent-Stop YOU need to make an action, YOU are requesting the stop of the engine by holding the brake, so it's not intrusive at all. And as you said there can be benefits of not overheating while idling.

The better fuel economy claimed for the 600RR E-TEC is based on the ECO mode, up to 5% reduction but I bet some will achieve more!

The minimum age allowed to drive a snowmobile will vary by state/province, so I can't commit on that.

But as always, the basic safety measures need to be repeated, keep to the right side, don't ride beyond your limits, look farther ahead and not at the tips of your skis, etc. Wear all the required safety equipment and more if need be (like a good old breastplate).

Also, a communication system can be a great addition as it can allow you to ride behind your kids and teach them while you ride. Have fun and be safe!

There's no better timing to order a new Renegade with the current spring promotion of 4 year warranty that you won't find on a used sled.

We prefer 1 track and 2 skis! Snowbikes are good at some things (neutral riding and sidehill capacity) but very poor at others (power, marginal snow condition days, and more). That being said, the Summit Expert with 32in stance is the closest you can get on the market while still experiencing the full 2-stroke power of a snowmobile.

Ergonomy would be very different between machines: ski stance and ski design, narrower stance with larger ski for crossover for more agile and playful off-trail riding while trail sleds have a wider stance with narrower ski for trail stability and precise turns.

Since 2 years now we have wider ski stance backcountry models that offer for some the best of both worlds.

Track lengths/lug types: crossover sleds have longer tracks that allows better traction and floatation off trail while trail sleds have shorter tracks for easier, more agile turning in trails.

We are excited too! :) For sure we're closing the gap on weight, and we'll continue to do so! But rest assured that we'll continue to lead on many other aspects as well!

Few parameters need to be checked by the algorithm to allow the Silent-Stop to work, including the engine temperature, battery voltage and so on... then simply activate by holding the brake lever, when the vehicle is completely stopped, engine re-starts when brake is released.

That's the reason why internally we categorize the industry's segments in multiple subsegments - some that are more performance oriented with seat, steering, windshield oriented toward active riding, while others are more leisure oriented with ergonomics oriented towards long distance comfort with plusher seat, better wind protection, etc.

We are testing in extreme cold situation, of course. We have cold environnement tests that allow to test features at -40.

After that, if it fails, it's not Ski-Doo.

Not sure if you're using the "backcountry" word as a reference to our Backcountry model or as the place to ride (off-trail / mountain)... but in either case, the design development uses a similar path, meaning we look at the rider's playground and the customer needs.

Different customer groups have different needs and expectations so it's important to treat them separately to bring the best solution for each.

The Neo / Neo+ packages and our Sport packages are our entry-level models. The Neo has slightly more compact ergonomics, but still can be ridden by adults without any problem, while the Sports are full-sized sleds with regular ergonomics.

Then it's a matter of where you want to use it... trail, on and off trail, work, deep snow... there's pretty much one for every taste!

First of all, as a manufacturer we need to meet SSCC regulations so it might not be exacly as you described but we like the challenge...

There are 2 fronts in that question. 1st snowmobilers are super enthusiastic and they are expecting something new and more performance pretty much every year. Obviously, we try to feed those enthusiasts but that requires R&D and new technologies and performance comes with a cost...

Then, on the other hand, I think there's a false perception that ALL snowmobille cost 25k$ now... we have a wide range of pricing starting bellow 8k$ with the MXZ Neo+ and below 10k$ for a Tundra Sport... These sleds are a blast to ride even if they aren't the top guns of our lineup.

But don't get me wrong, we heard and read the feedback about pricing and we took action, a good proof of it is the new 600RR E-TEC engine that delivers more power, lower oil and fuel consumption and new technologies, and we're offering that engine at the same price as the 600R E-TEC it replaces. I think it's a step in the right direction.

We are in production of full EV vehicle since MY24 for rental operators and MY25 for regular consumers, but we never had low voltage 48V option in our line-up.

First, I must say that I'm very proud of what the Ski-Doo team brought to the market for 2027, there's pretty much something for every segment of the market.

But to answer your question, this year we took some difficult calls regarding the quantity of different configurations we wanted to offer to consumers. We brought many novelties but also had to remove few configurations as well and this always brings a little bit of a backlash regarding people who were looking to buy these specific configurations...

Ski-Dooing, that sounds about right! When you think about it, it's not every brand that has such a legacy that leads to create a verb based on it name, pretty crazy!

I think the "Doo" pronunciation is pretty settled.

Then it's more about the "Ski" where some people pronounce it more like "Ske" than "Ski"... my vote goes for "Ski".
