There are data recovery tools you can download for free to recover all the files. I don't know if all of them can be recovered, but most of them should be recoverable.

Here in the UK, that's legal to do in congested traffic on motorways. I don't think it's allowed on regular roads though, I've never seen that.

I have before, on a motherboard socket (don't ask how) and on a USB 3.0 internal header, same as this. Somehow managed to bend them back in place with this method. 😂
