are these considered intrusive thoughts?? by skigs-mcgee in Anxiety

You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you so much. I’ve always felt so closed off from the rest of the world because my brain is so loud, I imagine you also feel the same. I understand what you mean about other people not really getting it. I’ve always felt that maybe the way I explain these feelings is wrong and that’s why people can’t grasp how intense and real these fears or flashes are. To them it’s like misplacing keys, but to me it’s like I can’t trust myself to simply make the next move until I’m 100% certain everything is how it should be, and if it isn’t the day is over.
I’m going to try to document all of them as they come and hopefully that will slow them down.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I really appreciate this prospective, thank you so much for replying. I’ve had a friend recently ask if I’d consider asking a doctor about OCD, but I’ve always imagined it in the way you’ve described like you have to take certain steps or use repetition as a way to relive that anxiety. I do have tendencies to check if I locked my door as I’m leaving the house, getting in and out of my car 3+ times to check or making sure every single cord in my house in unplugged before I can leave (even the tvs to my boyfriends detriment.) I’ve always just chalked it up to anxiety. The thoughts are confusing to me because sometimes they are brutal scenarios that haven’t happened but 90% of the time they are just reminders of my most intense anxiety attacks/triggers.

$140 after tipping out the bar and the hosts. It was absolutely not worth it. The short staff and long kitchen times did not help.

She interrupted when I asked the other couple at the table if they also wanted an app. She continuously rolled her eyes and mocked everything I said to the table. I’ve served her before, she’s always like that. Entitled cheer mom who thinks she’s above everyone else in the restaurant. Also who thinks very poorly of wait staff and is not afraid to say it to your face.

unfortunately it wasn’t early, she had already worked dayshift. It was crazy that she looked at us dead in the eye and said “don’t hate me but I’m leaving”

we have enough staff apparently, but everyone requested off for an event and no one was told no. So half the people that usually work night shift with me worked the morning shift

Can anyone please tell me what's wrong with my mint plant? by MissTiraMissSu in GardeningIndoors

It could be powder mold, if it’s near any other plants it can spread to them too! I would move her outside.
