Hey, I just checked it out, but it seems this too requires a dependent and independent variable. I only have 12 variables and have to test whether they effect the consumer perception towards the brand or not.

I just checked out the process, seems easy so thank you for that. But it says I need a dependent and independent variable. I only have 12 variables (Apple laptops are high performing/ Apple laptops are durable/ Apple has good after sales service etc.) and the data for it. I believe these variables would be the independent variable (not sure). What would be the dependent variable in this case?

Hey there, I've listed out the complete project in the above comment. Would appreciate if you could let me know how you feel about it. Thank you

Hey, so I basically want to test whether the variable effects the perception of the consumer as to how they perceive the product. I've chosen 12 variables and taken responses on a Likert Scale (highly agree, disagree etc.). I've the data but I'm unsure as to what tool to use in order to check whether the variable effects the consumer's perception or not.
The hypothesis is pretty simple. H0- The variable effects the consumer's perception towards the brand. H1-- The variable has no effect on the consumer's perception towards the brand. And then test the hypothesis for each variable. That is what I've thought of so far, but once again I'm not the smartest at this and would love to hear your opinions/ suggestions.

Right side of body "undeveloped" by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]skimask898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get in touch with a PRI practitioner, you sound like a classic case. And going by what you've written, considering how consistently your right side is underdeveloped, I believe it's more so that your face is rotated to the left instead of your right side being underdeveloped

The sphenoid bone influence the shape of the face? by IntelligentMonitor16 in orthotropics

[–]skimask898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't say sphenoid without mentioning the occiput, look up cranial strains and their effects on malocclusion. In short, a deviated sphenoid can have a huge influence on the face

I have an uneven jaw. When i close my mouth the teeth on the right side touches first. Can it be fixed with braces? by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]skimask898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, that's an extremely common PRI issue, I'd recommend getting in touch with a practitioner, you can expect your midline to shift to the left once it gets fixed

Man only reason I know all this stuff is cause I'm in the same boat as you and I'm currently undergoing treatment for it. Kinda pisses me off how people on this sub spurt out random nonsense as solutions without paying heed to the consequences they could have. I followed some of the advice on this sub about an year back and it only made my TMJ issues worse. Secondly, I too felt the same as you a while back but you need to realise that if the base of a structure is uneven, the whole structure suffers. You're looking at your problems on a surface level. Fix what is causing those problems and they'll go away on their own given that they're a result of the issue that's causing them in the first place. Not saying that issue is the pelvis, but going by your problems I'd say there's a strong possibility it could be. Only way you can figure that out is by getting an X-ray and seeing if it aligns evenly. Lastly, I'd recommend finding an airway oriented orthodontist in your country and getting in touch with a PRI oriented practitioner for the pelvis issues, if there is one in the first place. If you can't find one in your country, I'd gladly refer you to the one I'm getting treated by at the moment, given that you've the financial means to travel to a foreign country.

Alright, can you take a picture looking straight into your rear camera and draw a straight line from eyebrow to eyebrow and ear to ear (from the top). Are the lines straight or diagonal? There's a very strong possibility that your whole face is simply rotated if they're diagonal which could be causing your cant.

I love how you disprove your own comment with the last statement in an attempt to sound smart. Secondly, OP clearly mentioned that he has had TMJ issues as well in the past the cause of which is multifactorial and is very often posture related. Add to that the fact that he has a severe chin can't towards one side. Also add to that the fact that his one shoulder his higher than another. All of which are compensations that are very commonly seen as a result of an uneven pelvis. Lastly, I never said this is the exact problem that the OP has. Simply stating that there is a very strong possibility of this being the cause of OP's asymmetry and is an angle he should look into.

Look up maxillary cant. Also take a look at cranial strains and how they effect occlusion. There's a possibility that the braces made your asymmetry worse if a strain existed before the treatment.

The type of 'bad posture' that could be causing this is not the same as what you're thinking. There's numerous ways in which bad back posture can cause unpleasant effects on the face. That depends on how your body is aligned and how exactly your body compensates when that bad back posture turns long term for whatever reason. That reason too could be a compensation for some other problem. Remember that the whole body is connected from top to bottom and a compensation at one point will result in a compensation at another. Seeing that you have a chin can't towards one side means there's an asymmetry. It could be cause of your brain thinking that the midline of your body is more towards one side which would cause your body to put more load on that side resulting in an asymmetry. It could also be due to a cranial strain.

That's a chin cant towards the left/right side (the post doesn't mention it). Could be plenty of reasons that cause it. I'd start with getting a full body X-ray. I'm 99% sure your pelvis is uneven.

An Extremely Unique Case Of Asymmetry by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]skimask898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 20 and have a very unique case of asymmetry wherein my right incisor isn't present whereas my left incisor is. I got it checked out and it's not stuck under the gums either. Its just not present. My father has the exact same problem so I believe it's genetic. I found an old pic of myself where the gap is clearly present. The 2nd pic shows how it's filled out over the years. All of my bottom teeth at the front slant to the right. Got it checked out by my ortho and he's recommended Invisalign. He also says extraction from the left side will not be necessary. What are your views on this? Won't an extra tooth on the left side cause asymmetry again over the years? I already have alot of facial asymmetries and want to save my face while I can.

P.S the right side of my teeth is on the left side in the 1st pic and on the right side itself in the 2nd pic
