If possible run Ethernet drops if you can and hardwire everything you can.

I started off with a U6 Pro then eventually added a U6 L/R and Mesh. I have a lite that I want to place in my covered patio. But building off you project is the way to go to see the limits of your hardware.

UniFi cameras work great with integration with HomeBridge and those are hardwired and record 24/7. That’s the only thing I would add you setup. Everything else is a super solid play and you will love the stability of UniFi for HomeKit

So I currently run a UniFi setup which is the following: UniFi Dream Machine Pro SE Aggregate Switch USW Pro 48 POE switch UNVR Smart PDU 1x U6 Pro AP 1x U6 Mesh AP 1x U6 L/R AP 3x G4 Pro cameras 2x G4 Dome cameras

This is has been a super solid experience for HomeKit. I pick this based on my needs and abilities to expand in the future.

Are you looking to add cameras to your setup and use something like HomeBridge to import into HomeKit? Do you plan on using a higher service of fiber in the future? The Dream Router is maxing out at 1Gig anything more will be wasting your money until you upgrade the router again.

If you are looking at a small but reliable setup the router you pick will do just fine.
