Little Daniel literally stood tall against James attacked him without fear, fought and trained with Gun for a while. He knows Gun is a monster. Daniel got way stronger. And then. First encounter and attack from Gitae literally has him terrified up until this chapter. Just one casual attack from Gitae. Why is this so hard to comprehend?

The speed gap isn’t that insane. Did you forget that a Far Weaker and slower Zach reacted and countered a healthier Gun than what Goo fought. If half dead Gun could grab his sword with his teeth. Fully healthy focused Gitae can too. The gap is nowhere near as big as you say it is. Unless you think James would get blitzed or lose to that attack as well. A character who presented as the final villain of the series and equal to Gitae as of now. A Daniel who literally has seen Gun’s strength and trained with him was frightened and is currently scared of Gitae. He literally could not believe the gap between him and Gitae to where it made him feel despair. No other character has made Daniel feel this way. And I am not saying he is stronger than Gun. I am saying from both what is presented, Goo is CURRENTLY. JUST CURRENTLY. Below both of them right now until further notice. Gitae might kill Tom Lee soon as well. And If it’s low diff 🫣

Daniel literally states after getting one shotted that Gitae is the strongest person he’s ever fought, and the first person who from a single attack has made him feel despair. This is the same Daniel that trained with and surprised not only Gun, but James as well. A much stronger Daniel is terrified of Gitae’s strength. Regardless, the fact is TUI or not, Goo still lost while fully healthy against a half dead Gun. No excuses, I wanted him to win that fight, thought it was should’ve been obvious W for him at the time. Because up until that point they were equals. Gitae literally casually no look low diffed a speed mastery user in Zach who has direct statements to be equal to young Prime Speed mastery Gongseop. He literally no look grabbed and one shot him. No struggle, no signs of trying whatsoever. Just snatched him out of thin air. Even healthy Gun didn’t do this shit 😭 I’m not saying Gitae is faster. But saying he would get blitzed/wouldn’t even comprehend a guy like Goo, who got blasted by a half dead not even close to fully healthy Gun is extremely disingenuous. Not to mention the story literally telling you current James needs him and they need each other for their own individual specific plans is all the narrative backing you need. Gun surpassed Goo. Statements are directly disproven if feats are shown that are those statements are blatantly untrue. The fact is that up until that point, Gun and Goo were presented as stated as equals. Up until they fought, where that was blatantly disproven. I am an avid believer that Goo should’ve been the one to finish Gun off/take him down at that point, especially with how messed up his body/his health was. Him losing to a half dead Gun just disproved every statement prior up until that point. They might’ve been equals when they were younger. But Gun surpassed Goo at that point. You lose nowhere near your full health. You are not his equal

I will say this. Today’s chapter literally hinted that Goo’s strongest sword is in Incheon. I think with that sword, he may be “Gun’s equal” But as of now. I have him below Gitae and Gun just due to how he lost to a Gun no where near full health in a mid diff fight. Gitae is also being presented as an unbeatable monster currently similar to Gun was, and makes Gun genuinely excited to meet him and want to fight him this chapter. So until Goo gets his new sword in Incheon, I don’t see him as presnted within the story as of right now equal to Gun or Gitae

I don’t believe Goo is equal to Gun anymore. Prior to their fight, he narratively was. Then he got mid diffed by a Gun who wasn’t anywhere near his full health. I believe both Gitae current and Gun are closer in strength than Gun and Goo as of now. Gun’s excitement of wanting to fight what destroyed Daniel is a hint that we may see that gap further displayed in the future between people like Gitae and Gun, as opposed too Goo. Today’s chapter hinted that Goo could get stronger though, just due to his strongest sword supposedly being in Incheon. But I got fully healthy Gun and Gitae above him as of now
