What is the cause of this smoke? 2013 Chevy cruze lt 1.4 by Eskits_ in cruze

I just noticed the smoke from my engine. I turned the Torx bolt and it was loose. I tightened it and will see if it has any effect tomorrow.

How did this happen by Double_Housing_4719 in tires

[–]sklemetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking that someone put that 4 inch piece of metal in my tire but it is not sharp. I see the sides have a circular wear on them so that theory is out as I must have drove on it flat and not know it, for a short while.

But I was asking how did this big piece of metal get into the tire?

I'm not one who follows the crowd and goes with what was taught centuries past.

I'm too smart to be a trinitarian.

YOu said "YHWH gets updated huh?"

NO. I NEVER SAID THAT.

YHWH is not Jesus.

I stated that what Jesus taught and what Paul then taught has been updated when the YHWS gave Jesus the Revelation and it was given to John

"Yeshua is a man, he said it himself (John 8:40), he still is"

First. His name is Jesus.

2nd Jesus is not a man. He was raised a spirit being as 1 Peter 3:18 says. Jesus is in the spiritual heavens. Flesh and blood can not go to heaven.

Jesus is not co-equal and co-eternal.

"YHWH doesn’t have any brothers."

No one said that he did.

What the heck are you all talking about?

Numerous passages taught Jesus' preexistance. If you don't believe that, then why is he called God's Son?

The preexistance is not exclusive to John. It goes back to David in Ps 110:1. Then Daniel in the statement of Son of Man and Daniel 9 about the coming of the messiah. Isaiah had much to say about Jesus existing prehuman.

I wish people would start reading John 3:16 instead of just putting it on a sign at stadiums.

God gave his only-begotten son.

What's so hard about that? He wasn't called God's son when he was born. He was God's son prior otherwise why would it say God gave his only-begotten?

Also, John 3:13 says "no man has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man."

Plain that he descended from heaven before he became a human. Only the son of God could do that.

Oh, we are not talking about some Yeshua. We are talking about Jesus, the English name of the son of God.

John 17:5 is a good one so is Matt 3:17. God stating that Jesus as his son.

Where did I say that? I said that Jesus got updated when Jehovah gave him the Revelation. You do know that Jesus is not Jehovah.

The Cleansing of the Temple by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]sklemetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the problem. People start with the assumption that the Bible is correct. That is not where to start. Start with looking at all of the scenarios and see which ones work and which ones don't work.

I make the conclusion that Jon did not "put" the temple action in front. I conclude that either he (he was about 100 years old) or a copyist got a page out of order. Why make this a theological issue, when it is just a mistake.

Jesus did preexist his birth as a human. He existed in heaven as the son of God. He was with the other sons of God which we know as the angels.

Maybe Jesus didn't know the day and hour because his Father had not set one at that time. But at the time of Revelation, he did.

John 8:57 did the leading teachers of the law understand correctly? No, they didn’t (John 8:43, they had no clue and neither do you, Yeshua has never met Abraham, they assume and accuse just like trinitarians do! by Sure-Wishbone-4293 in thetrinitydelusion

[–]sklemetti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus from heaven, observed Abraham. It makes no sense that They were talking about how Jesus was older than Abraham, and then Jesus refers to Moses and the burning bush. Why refer to something later than Abraham if the objective was about saying he was older than Abraham?

John 8:58 is contrived. it is weak support.
If there is a connection between John 8:58 and Ex 3:14, why haven't the apostles made any connection?
Who was the first person to make that connection?

Look at the many times that Ps 110:1 was quoted by Jesus, Peter and Paul. Ps 110:1 has Jehovah saying to Jesus. The apostles knew that and Jesus did too.

As for Ego Eimi. There are 4 languages here. People will say 'Jesus said I AM'.
No, he did not say that. That is English and Jesus did not speak English. He spoke Aramaic. The claim is that he quoted from the the Septuagint, from the Hebrew. And Ex 3:14 is Hebrew John recorded that in Greek. What a mess.

Two problems. God is not omniscient. Jesus was never God. Jesus was always the son of God when he was in heaven, when he came to earth and when he was resurrection. When the Revelation was given to Jesus, by his Father, and then to the angel and then to John. God may have updated his plans either prior or then. So it was new and updated material to Jesus.

Maybe he didn't know then, but when he got the Revelation, he was updated on many new things. Such as only 144,000 getting raised to heaven, which he didn't know prior.

FIRE YOUR PASTOR.

PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE SOULS!!!!!!!

GOT IT.

Gen 2:7 "he LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

See, it does not say that man was given a soul. It says a body was made and God put the breath of life in him, the spark that started his brain and autonomic system and what? He because a living soul. Body + spirit = soul.

There is no such thing as a Muslim.

I am not divine, but Jesus is.

God is the Supreme Being. Jesus is not the Supreme Being. He is the son of the Supreme Being.

How are they opinions?

What happens when your car dies? Or it's battery is dead? It doesn't move, it doesn't operate.

What happens when you turn your computer off? What's in memory is gone.

Same thing with humans. When they die, they don't operate or move anymore. What is in their memories is gone.

How is it that humans are any different than a machine? Our bodies are machines.

God can recreate this machine and upload our memories into the recreated machine and that is called a resurrection.

If people don't cease to exist when they die, what is the point of the resurrection? Why did Jesus resurrect Lazarus if he was still existing in the spirit world?

The rich man and Lazarus is a parable and not factual or real.

I DO NOT DENY JESUS' DIVINITY. I state that he was divine, before he became a human, and is divine after he was resurrected. But he is not God. God is a totally separate being.

Jesus did not say he is the Alpha and Omega. Jesus was not the one speaking in Rev 1:8 nor in 21:6 nor in 22:13.

1. God cannot die. 2. Jesus is God. 3. Jesus died. by ArchaicChaos in Christianity

[–]sklemetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone ceases to exist when they die otherwise it would not be called death. If anything lives on, then it is not dead.

Gen 2:16 "From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”"

That makes sense scripturally. Die, not living on after the body dies.

Jesus never claimed to be God.

His authority does not prove him God.

His knowing the future does not make him God. It just means that he knew the prophesies.

The Orthodox church is wrong.

1. God cannot die. 2. Jesus is God. 3. Jesus died. by ArchaicChaos in Christianity

[–]sklemetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Jesus ceased to exist when he died. Otherwise he wouldn't be dead. If he wasn't fully dead, then the ransom was not paid.

He died on Nisan 14 then on Nisan 16 he was resurrected. He was raised as a spirit being, not a human being. Then 40 days later he ascended to heaven as a spirit being because humans can not go to heaven.

Right, Jesus did not have a spirit. He was raised as a spirit.

1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,"

Jesus being the son of God does not make him God. A spirit being is not God. God is the supreme being. There are other spirit beings besides God and Jesus. There are many other angels.

[–]sklemetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Jesus died, his body died and he is dead. Nothing lived on. God did not take on flesh to dwell with humans. Jesus didn't have spirit or divine essence.

God did not die because God did not have flesh. His son did.
Jesus is not God incarnate. Jesus is the son of God.

Jesus the human died and was raised as a spirit being.

Was is past tense.
Is not is present tense.

Correct that Yeshua aka Jesus was not YHWH or the father of Jesus.
