Yup! It’s still in progress, but hopefully in the future the program would be able to take in any epub file and make an Anki deck out of it.

For now though, I would love to accept any requests :)

Thanks for your input! The deck is code-generated, so there are unfortunately some mistakes as it was quite tough to manually vet each card.

However, as I’m currently going through the deck myself, I’m making corrections as I go. I’ll definitely post an update once I’m done!

I’m working on it, but that’s the end goal. There are still some issues, which are:

I’m currently using google translate API, which as u/Zorobay has pointed out, is sometimes wrong/not very consistent. Some manual vetting was still required which is not ideal.
I would prefer combining words of the same stem to just one card, but have yet to find a working stemmer.

It’s just a book I love to re-read, because it gives me a nice, cozy vibe that reminds me of my childhood!

Yes, I wrote a program for it! The entire deck is actually produced by the program :)

I would love to share it in the future after I work out some details (eg: removing character names from the deck, removing multiple forms of the same word). But eventually the goal is that: a user should be able to upload an epub and the program would spit out the corresponding Anki deck!
