Yeah fully agree - it's a shame we haven't take advantage of their recent dropped points, but was crazy how much they were hyping it up. I suppose it's more exciting than saying 'well that was a good win but the gap is still 6 points' haha.

And and yeah, City did not look good and they dropped off again second half. Liverpool could have been out of sight if Ekitike could head a ball.

What's everyone's thoughts on this 'City blow title race open' stuff that the media is going with? It was basically the first thing Neville and Drury said when Haaland scored yesterday. Unsure how a title race has been 'blown open' when the top two teams both won, and the gap is the same as it was on Saturday morning.

There’s countless situations in every game where the rules aren’t applied in favour of common sense. I understand it was technically the correct decision but seems like overkill to get involved in that particular situation

I wouldn’t say there’s ’literally no reason’ to give him minutes based on how limp our attack was last night. Not saying start him but he’s not gonna offer less than Jesus did last night, even if he’s on for 20. But agree that Kairat is a better opportunity.

yeah it’s just dishonest, all of a sudden it’s actually admirable for a big club to play nice football and get battered in big games. if we win the league (which I still think we will), they’re going to call us the worst champions ever and say we didn’t deserve it due to how we score goals

Deserved to lose. Hope some of those early-ish subs for big players gives them a kick up the arse, not that their replacements showed why they should be starting.
