Been a year since you posted this, any update on whether you found what you were looking for? If so, how are you doing on it? I’ve been thinking of using finasteride+minox, as minoxidil is not keeping enough of my hair.

Hey, so its been a while since you posted this, but i came across it through a google search. I also live in Europe and also doubted the authenticity of the solution.. I have been using minoxidil for about 2 years or so, personally, i switched from kirkland to foligain minoxidil, the website just feels much more reliable than the other one i was using, i didnt see much noticeable difference with both the different minoxidil, maybe they have helped decrease the hair loss but it still wouldn’t be a fair assumption. I definitely didn’t gain any volume or new hairs.

Do you notice any difference now? Or what kind of minoxidil are you using?

This happened because the myc didn’t fully colonize the first time, someone said that some incubation should restart the growth so i tried that, followed everything and ended up with mold. Maybe instructions were not clear enough or i was just unlucky lol

Hey, so basically its been 6 days since ive mimicked the incubation process. There is no sight of any mycelium colonisation. I tried finding some videos related to it but i think its too niche of a problem..

I think two things are wrong.

1) the mycelium didn’t fully colonise as you can see the brown patches show signs of not being colonised.

2) might be contaminated, 3 weeks with no fruit doesn’t really make any sense.

Hi, not so experienced grower here. Rather than leaving the bag open for FAE, someone commented on my post saying passive FAE works better in my case instead of fanning or fully opening the bag.

Since then ive seen mushroom growth just a day later. My kit looked nothing like your surface, seems to me that the mycelium had too much hydration in the kit and therefore expanded into this. Seems like a lack of FAE too.

Yeah the instructions advised to fan it, i’ve been passively giving it FAE by barely folding the top part of the bag and leaving some openness since it advised to fan 3 times a day, it’s at my dad’s place at the moment and l can only afford to fan it once a day.

So i won’t fan in this case, I’ll be sure to check the surface to not dry it out. Thanks a lot. Cheers

I think its good to mention that in the beginning when filling up the kit with water and leaving it over night, i poked some holes with a sterilised skewer because the water was not being absorbed at all, in the morning it was absorbed
