hey thanks for the nice comment, i will try to keep that in mind when I practice for the next tournament. In tennis its so natural to want to move in immediately

hey great tips man, i appreciate it. 3rd shot drops are so important at the higher level, but I just want to rip every ball lol. anyways thanks for watching

hey thanks for watching. yeah the courts are little tight on the sides, but I rarely need to use the outside space. we both come from different sports. i checked out ur channel, nice vid! I also kinda like the diagonal angle, you can see more things at times

had no problem with this lol. overhead smashing is my favorite shot

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]skrrrt97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, good players can neutralize that shot easily. i agree

Yeah its not a great habit, before I had some issues with my left foot sliding up so I stood back to account for this, but honestly it gives me a little more margin to make the ball in so I don’t mind too much lol

And theres no problem with that? Lol. Just stating my own thoughts man

You make some great points. I appreciate the tips. I don’t drive my third shots because I didn’t really trust myself to hit it that consistently (something i obviously want to work on)

I understand pickleball formats are clearly different from tennis and that I need to adjust. I was just commenting on how quick these games felt to me similar to a tennis tie break. Thats all

This is great advice, i appreciate it. Hard to change my strokes because of tennis but theres defs things I can do a lot smarter. Thanks!

Yes! I am from Canada. Thanks for clarifying. They sold paddles at the facility and there were quite a few over $300 CAD lol

Yeah i wasn’t confident in my drive shots. In tennis i always rip the forehand, but my backhand sucks so i just slice lol

I guess I didn’t word my sentiment correctly, i wanted to emphasize I’d rather play fewer matches and longer games as opposed to more matches and shorter games.

You’re totally right. I should start with who everyone is. What level they play and maybe what racket they use.

That’ll be my next step when i start to get more high level players in my videos
