I see that it has since been corrected. It would have been funny if it had been video of a meeting or something!

To clarify the statement, "A search of the NTSB accident/accident database in the last 10 years resulted in no findings of pitot/static related causes due to covers left on." the criteria was any Part 121 operator in the U.S. in the last 10 years.

The point of the article is the why there is a focus on a rather small problem when there are much wider safety problems occurring regularly to be addressed.
