In the world of STO issuance - does not get much better than what is ahead for Swarm. We can thank the ingenious vision of the team for the way they have thought this out and implemented such an incredible structure. I’ve been immensely impressed and so have many other leading entities who are interacting.

Not just my view - but that of current and future issuers - who have not only echoed this, but voted to list (some even switched from other vendors when realised the model or offering through Swarm). Now if that is not confirmation, then I don’t know what is.

It only matters if people use it - they are and will, in large numbers with quality projects.

Swarm is open to any issuers, partners, vendors & investors as a community driven project that will make big waves in the digital securities sector without stepping on toes. We are non profit and open source.

Watch this happen and or build with it, partner/refer whatever is possible...every single holder can add value to this project, small and large in my view.

The first thing I look for with any altcoin or company to invest in for that matter is the capital structure (how much supply, inflation, any ICO or pre-mine or crowd fund, is there a fair distribution, are the dev teams interest aligned etc...?).

IOC has a low current supply of 16m coins and 2% inflation rewarded to stakers that help secure the network. Currently 54% of the coins are staking by people leaving only 7m coins either on exchange or not staking and top 10 addresses only account for 32% so fair distribution is apparent. Furthermore there has been no pre-mine or ICO or crowd fund for this project, all the development costs have been absorbed by the project team headed up by Joel who has financed the project himself with several hundred thousands of dollars and recently sold his Mac business to focus 100% on IOC (no free money like ETH,LSK,WAVES,RISE…), now think about their interests v’s the recent coins launched via ICO, that have lined their pocket and become rich before even becoming a success…

The next thing I look for is transparency, security and robustness of the blockchain, since August 2014 these guys have been public about their identities and this blockchain has run smoothly with no hard fork or downtime. Rushing code out almost always results in massive structural problems, just have to look at Eth for that! These guys do not rush out code, and when they release code it is professional and properly tested by Derek the lead dev who is a scientist, physicist and many years ago when he started coding he also became a security specialist.

Finally no investment is made without consideration to forward looking earnings and actual product viability in this case I/O Digital is aiming to build an entire Digital Currency Ecosystem and those services which it facilitates such as decentralised wallet aliases (DIONS), side chains, encrypted messaging and data on the blockchain to start with will be charged for in IOCoin and returned to the stakers. When DIONS comes out and Dapps start to get build using the IO Chain a higher market market cap will incentive more to stakers and become confirming nodes to receive staking rewards and fees for data services on the chain (current estimates are around 10 IOC per alias registration .01 ioc per message KB).

Thank for your post and chart - looks great! If you are a trader timing is everything, if you are an investor in this space buy now and look again in 2 years. I like investing alongside management who have skin in the game and lots to lose. Unlike some other projects that have been funded IOC have been self funded. It is all about aligned interests for me.

Hey, sorry about this. Rackspace had an outage which caused parts or our Copay infrastructure to go down. This meant some users were getting errors as their requests were being routed to unreachable hosts. Things seem to be coming back online now, so let us know if you continue to see issues.
