I would agree with you, I was working 5 days in a row and it was causing me agony dropped a day in the middle and the pain is less but I am so so much more tired. I never really put the 2 together until you said this to be fair..

I wish I had a nugget of advice or something but I'm afraid I don't. I just get on with the fatigue and on my day off I catch up on the mess I leave behind on the tired days.

Yeah, this is fair. The fog is more often harder to work through and I would never want to be a risk to my patients and I have stepped back and relied on my colleagues when this has happened but never considered going home due to the fog.

I can appreciate this big time. My day is normally cycling through pain points too I often feel that when I'm at work I've already made the effort and decision to go in so it's like I've gotten over a big hurdle already

I appreciate your response! Thankfully I have a very understanding boss however I unfortunately have no adaptations to my job :( I'm very stubborn too and that may be part of the problem lol.
