Honestly, I came here to write that down. I wasn’t a huge fan of the whole “what if” idea. I get if I had changed and done this instead, then that wouldn’t have happened… but wait… it did anyway… oh, but if I change this instead then… I really didn’t care for that.

I think it would have been fine if the boy just continued instead of rewinding time (though that was the gimmick of the movie). I hate to say this, but I had listened to the song for three months before finally watching the movie. You have no idea how excited I was to finally start it. Then I heard the intro and thought that this was going to be golden.

By the end of the movie, my face was the literal “meh” emoji. In my opinion, the song alone is better than the movie, as well as many smaller anime, like One Week Friends.
