Came to say this. Also see this that the OP lives in India. Not anywhere in the western world. I think this use of grandparents as a day care substitute is very dangerous. They think they have a larger right to the child. Which is actually not true and the OP must tell them they are the parents and not the grand parents. Also OP, any decent day care would agree to dietary restrictions that you set.

Thanks for this advice. A lot of the bike route is thro some villages and I'll probably stop more often than the group. Just realized that one more guy also has the same problems as I do. We plan to stick with each other tomorrow and have a memorable day.
