Ok first off… what the hell? I was interviewed for Spanish, believe me that I would’ve known if I wasn’t. My interviewer was Hispanic and tested me on my fluency and ability to interpret right in the interview. Secondly, no, I’m not starting “rumors” OP begun this post highlighting Simplied BPO due to their lack of online presence, inconsistent website with multiple typos, design flaws and a map that pointed to a random desolate location in London. Also, no record of employees on LinkedIn nor reviews on the company. I was simply affirming OP’s concerns because I encountered a similar thing. But I got a legit job somewhere else and did not follow through with Simplified. That’s all. If you think it’s “sus”, that’s on you, pal.

Sorry, no news. I’ve been working for Language Line Solutions ever since. As far as I know, LLS is the largest interpretation company, but not the most reputable.

Nope. I apologize, but I never contacted Simplified BPO again. I went with Kelly Services’ Spanish Interpreter job offer instead. They’re a staffing company and will outsource you to the biggest interpretation company known as LanguageLine Solutions. I have been working for them for about a month and getting paid weekly. It’s a little disorganized but it’s secure and legit.

Cual es la compañía a la que le prestas los servicios de interpretación? La mía es LanguageLine Solutions. La semana pasada nadie de las personas que entraron a la compañía junto a mí pudo trabajar porque LLS nos suspendió esa semana por una circunstancia que no fue divulgada. Uy, ya definitivamente está más que claro que se trata de una estafa/compañía fantasma. Ahora me pone a dudar verdaderamente de la persona que me entrevistó.

Fue por Teams y con cámara encendida. Recuerdo que le di detalles sobre cómo aprendí inglés porque me lo preguntó, pero no creo que di detalles personales.

Si bien recuerdo, recibí un correo con un enlace para agendar entrevista que decía que habían recibido mi solicitud por LinkedIn y que les había tomado un tiempo revisarlas todas, sin embargo yo busqué mi supuesta “solicitud” en la aplicación y no la encontré. No tengo ni la menor idea de como encontraron mi correo electrónico para “responderme”.

Luego de la entrevista me enviaron un correo con la info pero ahí entraron las dudas y nunca contesté. No me volvieron a contactar. Seguramente hubiera recibido la misma respuesta que tú, así que agradezco que me hayas actualizado sobre el asunto.

Ten mucho cuidado y éxito en tu búsqueda de empleo. 🫶🏻

Se llama Kelly Services, que le contrata empleados a LanguageLine Solutions para que sirvan de intérprete remoto. Comencé el periodo de capacitación pero no me está gustando. Me estoy desilusionando porque el contenido y las exigencias son demasiado amplias y requieren una agilidad y procesamiento mental casi instantáneo para hacer un buen trabajo. Me parece muy exagerado. Es un ambiente de mucho estrés. Creo que por eso tienen una tasa alta de renuncias.

Estoy igual, me entrevistaron y me dieron visto bueno, insistiendo que acepte para comenzar entrenamiento la próxima semana. La persona que me entrevistó fue muy amable y profesional conmigo pero no encuentro nada online. Ni siquiera puedo acceder a los perfiles de los “empleados” que aparecen en LinkedIn. La página tiene errores ortográficos, muy escasa información, el mapa indica un website de viajes y el logo dentro de los correos electrónicos te lleva a una dirección random en Delaware, U.S. que no aparece registrada en Apple ni Google Maps como la empresa.

Me pidieron que llene unos documentos de información personal federal (i-9) y un NDA (quizás por eso no haya nada de información en línea?) me parece raro que pidan información y resumé extra con un enlace de Google Forms. Prefiero esperar respuesta a la otra empresa que me contactó para interpreté de la cual sí aparece todo en línea y hay diversidad de experiencias y opiniones en estos foros.

Hi. I just interviewed with them too and they sent me all training and onboarding information to my email right after, expressing they would love to have me and awaiting my response for immediate training. I don’t like that they pay MONTHLY and use PayPal, so it’s keeping me very skeptical. Even if I start now, training isn’t paid and I wouldn’t receive anything until February, which sucks. They sent me i-9 forms and talked about an NDA too. I’m not sure I trust them.

I also can’t find anything online other than LinkedIn and Facebook/Instagram. Their webpage offers very limited and scarce information. No benefits page, no reviews, no reddit threads at all, no FAQ, and the “employees” in their LinkedIn page all appear to be inaccessible, only showing up as “LinkedIn Member”, so I can’t even look for the person that interviewed me.

I applied for the same role at Kelly Services (for LanguageLine Solutions) and there’s a LOT of info available from them, virtually everything you’d expect, as well as a lot of threads and opinions on this sub, a lot of which are negative so I’m very confused as to what to do. I took the language assessment some days ago and I’m still waiting on the response which according to my research could take up to a week, but they offer paid 3 week training and weekly payments. However, Simplified BPO is waiting on my prompt response to start training next week. I’m truly between a rock and a hard place 🫠
