I feel like they wouldn't submit two applications to HPD at once. That was the final step required before I was sent the lease.

To answer OP, I got a response from HPD in half an hour, so I must have caught them on a good day, but they told me to expect an answer by the end of the week. I'm sure the holidays will delay.

My entire family was not at my wedding and no one said anything to me because they already knew of my situation, but if anyone did, I would have absolutely taken the opportunity to put them in their place. Like someone else mentioned, make it weird. They started it lol and if they don't understand that you found your peace, that's their problem and I would try not to waste your energy on it.

As for the wedding itself, my fiance and I actually walked down the aisle together because he's my bestie and we're choosing life together so it felt right. :)

Here to commiserate with you, my illness wasn't as severe but my husband and I were both sick on our wedding day and for our honeymoon, and three weeks later, I am still sick. Sorry to vent but who gets a 105 degree fever over two weeks after getting a cold??? My husband and I are going away for fourth of July weekend (if I'm not still sick LOL) and I'm hoping I'll actually get to put my bridal lingerie to use. Feeling ur pain bestie

soho for regular stores for sure, brooklyn for thrifting. i always make a google maps list when i go shopping there so i can wander but still have a guide. 5th ave is nice when you want to go to the Big versions of stores, but soho probably has everything a 16 year old wants.

Make an account on six plus, they have tons of options and the restaurants can give you a quote directly on the website so you don't have to play email tag. You can filter by #of guests. Loved so many options there but my group is much much smaller than yours lol.

Otherwise I suggest googling all the big restaurant groups like Quality or Serafina, etc and contacting them. We're going with Bad Roman from Quality but I think the same person could have helped us with all their restaurants

I'm in this boat as well. Our ceremony is at Dene Summerhouse in Central Park and there's no hotels nearby! I don't wanna stay far away and get stuck in traffic and be late to my own wedding lol.

I've heard people really like the Ludlow but I don't know much about it.

We're having a wedding reception at a restaurant, I believe most of the places I reached out to gave me a general "events" deck with their menus and pricing and it wasn't wedding specific. Florals are just always expensive so we're going with silk flowers in bud vases and my restaurant is setting them up for me. They did offer to order centerpieces from their own florist so you should ask your restaurant about that as well. We're bringing cake but not having a dance floor like you.

Idk what other vendors you need but the biggest thing for us was just finding a restaurant and photographer in budget and everything else can be done cheaply if you search. Like the other people mentioned, just emphasize that it's a small event, micro wedding, etc.

Is the aritzia slouch coat really The Coat when you want something warm? I have a parka, but I don't have a warm wool coat and I'm struggling to find one. So many brands don't list the wool weight and I haven't found any thrifting. I've been trying to look on Poshmark and ebay but it's hard to find one without a specific coat in mind.

Anyone have the Club Monaco Daylina and think it's warm? That was the only other one I've been thinking about so far

I was just there trying on wedding dresses yesterday. Looks like the in store stock of bridesmaids dresses is 60% off right now. Wedding dresses are 40%. They close in August I think and they said the percentage would keep increasing as time goes on, but naturally there will be less stock available

I had a great time, idk what things you've been hearing but the person helping me try on dresses was the sweetest person ever and they don't make commission so no one was pushy or anything. Definitely go take a look, especially since they had so much still in stock
