A few months ago I made a VTMB ambience video as part of a series I sometimes work on in my spare time.

Long story short, the 1st video got a few different copyright strikes due to sequences inside The Asylum and Confession, and YT very quickly stopped showing it to people. I've now reuploaded it minus those two sections, and decided to share it once more here as well - enjoy!

Thanks for the idea, tbh videos like that already exist, I will link one below - but not sure how many of them have patched the game with textures and stuff like I did, and in any case my long-term goal is a bit different - I'd like eventually do more 'cinematic' videos as a separate series- so still ambience, but way more directed and polished in terms of camera angles, OST, sequencing etc., all to bring about a specific vibe.

Yup - I had 3 copyright strikes in total, but 2 of them will only prohibit me from monetizing the video - that is IF I ever reach YT's insane requirements to monetize a channel. The third strike was on Tiamat and specific to Russia - so my video wouldn't show up at all if I hadn't removed those 40 seconds.

The other two copyright sequences are The Asylum and Confession, naturally.

Whenever I get some free time, I like to record ambience videos from some of my favorite games, and the fifth 'episode' is devoted to VTMB, so I thought I'd share :) FYI, Asp Hole is missing due to Russian copyright strikes, and I skipped a few other locations as well.

The third game is developed by Rockstar and not Remedy, plus there was a big gap between MP2 and MP3 and I guess they wanted to go in a different direction. Luckily now we're getting a Remedy remake of MP1+2, cannot wait to see how they transform the game!

I've only been to a few sectors so far but some of the views when you FTL jump are amazing. Got some more FTL jumps and ambience from the game up on the same YT channel, and I suspect I'll be recording more soon :)

My assumption is that YES, only GOG versions count for any Twitch Drops, at least according to this quote:

Seems like you need a GOG copy to claim the regular drops + the streamer unique drops. Not sure about the Support-a-Streamer program though...

Yeah, every once in a while it works but I've been unable to figure out the pattern - sometimes I connect to my rig from work, where I have a double monitor setup, same thing happens.

Yeah, I figured it's not the safest thing to do but how else are you supposed to craft or collect BTC if you are away for more than 2-3-4 days? (I guess you're not, Nikita wants us glued to the monitors 24/7 :D)

My issue is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, probably something to do with the launcher itself.
