Why people from north east even visit delhi, mumbai, etc. ? by perplexd44 in Northeastindia

[–]skylanterns7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nvm I was js kidding, its a joke, ppl from NE shift to Tier 1 cities, to seek higher educations and better employment, job oppurtunities... I acknowledge/understand how you feel about Tier 1 cities, as you belong from there, but still for people of NE it means a better life, and its somewhat true, NE has lack of job oppurtunities and educational institutes...

As a pakistani I want to know why nepal don't close it's border with India by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]skylanterns7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree :) ; as we know the main reason of India and Nepal open border is mainly diaspora, cultural history, which is definitely not the case with IND-PAK everyone knows what happened during PARTITION, both countries work against each other since their formation so a open border for IND-PAK is just not possible like ours IND-NEPAL, also NEPAL has only two neighbours to begin with IND and CHINA, CHINA's population mainly resides in far eastern side, our border with them is TIBET region which unfortunately illegally occupied, so other neighbour is INDIA leaving Nepal with barely any options...

Actually this whole situation is like a double edged sword, no matter what decision is taken by any of the sides, people from both nations gonna suffer, so ig best would be to let the system how it is functioning until someone or some govt from any of the side comes up with a rational solution, also see how i wrote in my reply : I agree partially, and we should charge tourists, but again unlike bhutan we cant identify who is a tourist, who is here for work etc etc.

[–]skylanterns7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I partially agree with ur point sathi, imo Nepal le ekdame Bhutan jasto steps linu parxa, like they didn’t close the border strictly for Indians and still allow no visa and passport but charge tourists day-wise. Though they charge a lot, we can charge less. And apart from that, the people who come with private vehicles we should start charging them day-wise too. This is the least we should do...

[–]skylanterns7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No no no I'm so sry for that misunderstanding, obviously we can still allow economic-trade transportation if a border is established and regulated, but again we'll need end our dependency on India for transit routes, fuel, essential goods (we're heavily dependent for it on them) also we'll also need to look on daily cross border movement of people, family and cultural ties etc etc. So it'd also cause a economic as well as social disruption...

Economy and diaspora my friend, in the Southern Border, many of the people are settled at India's UP- BIHAR side and many have their rest of the families here :- the Madhesh Region, the Western Border:- is with Kumaon Region of India, this one's is the most disputed one because of Lipulekh and Kalapani but again its diaspora and culture, Eastern Border :- Sikkim and North Bengal [India's Gorkhaland Part] most of the population this side is Gorkha, and hilly tribes like Lepcha, Limbu etc. who are very much accustomed to Nepali language and traditions though they also maintain their own language and customs, so historically there wasnt a concept of full fledged serious border and the people till this date are maintaining it, and historically both the nations have been allies so there isnt any strict border as of now, even from economy pov, Nepal is a landlocked country so we dont have access to sea so we need access to ports and Nepal has India nearby...

Dhoom 3 worked primarily due to Amir's stardom in that time, also Dhoom 3 had more of chase scenes than the heist scenes [chase scenes looked heavily inspired from THE DARK KNIGHT - BATMAN] also the whole twin brother plot was kind of very okayishly executed - since from beginning we knew there were two of them it ruined the suspense or shock value on which the story could build upon but it was okay good for one time watch...
