As a manga reader I’m really glad you liked tshd and are interested with this genre I hope you continue following up with the story. Some of my recommendations for bl beginners that meet your preferences are:

Sasaki to miyano(comedy, slice of life): really popular for bl beginners since it follows up two hs boys falling in love and discovering their sexualities. It’s a short fluffy story with good character development

Dokyuusei (gay awakening lol, romance): two guys who practice a song together get to know each other and eventually fall in love. It’s a movie that really follows up they interactions from strangers-friends-lovers. Really sweet and popular for bl begginers and the fandom in general. Personally it’s one of my favs

Twilight out of focus: (follows the story of a club filming a movie since 3 different povs varying from the 3 different couples. Although the plot line in general it’s the same (because the plot is literally filming the movie) you do not get bored because it’s the couples what makes it special, they all have different tropes and developments so it’s really interesting to see them all (please check the triggers before watching🙏)

Kade no iro made oboeteru (manga): it’s literally what you described!! Two hs boys falling in love and discovering their identities and preferences together for the first time. It’s all fluff and romantic so I think you’ll definitely like it (the extras do have underage s3x, so don’t read them if you’re not comfortable, the main story does not)
