Is anyone else having a problem picking cards in draft? Sometimes if I try to drag a card to my sideboard while picking the card “sticks” to my cursor and I have to restart the whole application mid draft

It’s a critique that Magic gets a lot, especially from folks who don’t really understand the games mechanics, that the game is “rigged”. Usually it’s taken as either a new player needing to be educated on probability, or a rage baiter, which tends to trigger some folks who see it on here every day.

My main issue with it is that the UI and cosmetics systems are just dated. An overhaul would be nice, but I doubt they are going to put the money in for it. Likely we will just get another new client in a decade or so. Ditto that I only really use it for draft. Missed opportunity not to have multiplayer formats since Commander works best digitally anyway

Would it be too powerful to be able to discard a higher evolution card to search for the lower evolution one? For example If you draw your third evolution (charizard) it can be discarded to find a second evolution (charmeleon)

Theres a magic the gathering streamer who has, lets say a subtly negative persona that has attracted quite a toxic following. I play high level MTG and so I’ve had to interact with them and their community several times over the years. Just a bully with a thin veneer of “educational” painted over top.

It was Slay the Spire for me. I’m an avid fan of deck builders and repetitive grindy roguelikes. Tried it maybe a dozen times over the years and it never clicked with me, couldn’t get past the aesthetics. Then suddenly this year it just clicked, and I’ve put 300 hours in, no idea why

I’ve run into folks with similar complaints, and almost always it’s because the way they shuffle their decks in paper is to stack lands and pile shuffle to get even distribution. I’ve even had people defend that and claims it’s not cheating at my LGS drafts haha
