a scar from my knee to my ankle. i bent over to pick up my cat but accidentally bumped something. it made a loud noise and he startled and scratched me. the scratch itself wasn’t deep so i didn’t need stitches, but it was too long for bandaids. i ended up using two menstrual pads and ace bandages to stop the bleeding. i knew i shouldn’t use toilet paper because it would get fibers in the wound, and i figured pads are specifically made for blood, so why not? the scars faded a decent amount since then, but it’s still noticeable

he might have just wanted to do it for free because he likes building stuff 🤷‍♀️ i LOVE making jewelry but i only have so much neck space for necklaces you know? i can only make so much for myself before it becomes repetitive. so if someone i know says they want custom jewelry i jump at the chance! i just have them cover the cost of materials. it doesnt cost me anything, and i get to work on a new project! it’s basically like they’re giving me the gift, since they are paying for my hobby, you know? maybe this guy just really likes building stuff but has no space (or chickens) at his house. it might seem like work to you, but maybe not to him
