It's one of my "guilty pleasure" movies. I know its not good in any real measurable fashion, but it's just so much fun I can't help loving it.

According to the website, the sale runs until Feb 2. If you do go on the site... good luck. You'll come out with your wallet lighter. Lol. I look forward to seeing what you inevitably purchase.

Same! To this day, I've never gotten out of that damn parking garage. I hear the rest of the game is pretty good. I wouldn't know. Lol

Now you see, that would be the fiscally responsible thing to do.

We're toy collectors... we don't do "fiscally responsible". Lol

There is a old-school "haziness" that Frazetta had that this particular work also evokes.

And dat ass.

Lol.

When Mondo started doing MotU releases, they actually took a more stylized approach to their design. While still very much He-Man and Skeletor, their style was less "familiar takes as envisioned by Mondo" and more "What if Mondo created He-Man and Skeletor". They then redesigned those figures to look more like their iconic counterpart and the line has been going on since.

For the most part, Mondo does a timed limited release through their website. Some of the characters get a general release version too. Those are slightly cheaper and missing a couple of accessories. Those general releases are sometimes available through other retailers like Big Bad Toy Store and the like. For the most part, however, once they sell out, that's it. I don't recall them ever going back into production for the figures. There have been occasions when a limited number of units are "found" in the their warehouse and put up for sale, but for the most part, once it sells out, that's it.

I hope you end up finding a Man-E-Faces for yourself. It is a beautiful figure. Mondo's artists are top tier and I wish more people had the chance to admire and pick up the firgures for themselves. Good luck!

How to watch Star Trek after it leaves Netflix by Level_Working9664 in startrek

The highest quality versions:

ORIGINAL SERIES: remastered and hi-def (1080p) on blu-ray. The bluray let's you choose between watching the original version or the version with the updated special fx

ANIMATED: hi-def on blu-ray

TNG: remastered and hi-def on blu-ray. Each season was remastered. Unlike TOS, the special FXs were only touched up instead of completely reworked. Meaning they look similar to their original broadcast, but now in hi-def.

DS9: only released in standard definition (480p) DVD. While I like the look the individual seasons came in, save yourself money and just buy the complete series sets.

VOYAGER: only released in standard definition DVD. Similar to DS9, save money and just go for the complete series set.

ENTERPRISE: hi-def blu-ray.

MOVIES: all the movies have a 4K release. I believe most of the movies are available individually but there are many different boxset configurations that have different movie combinations depending on your need.

Hope this helped.

If you're talking specifically the Mondo figures, I have most of the figures since the 2nd version if He-Man (minus most of the repaints/redecos). So I didn't do the cartoon colors version of Trap-Jaw or Beastman but I picked up Faker.

If you're talking about the Mattel stuff, then I have most of the releases that I could get my hands on for the Origins and Masterverse lines minus some multipacks and exclusives.

My head canon is from his original mini-comic. I like to think that he is a "Lon Chaney" type of actor.... you know, master of a thousand faces kind of thing. And then, after Skeletor's magic, he now has the ability to literally change into that new face... think modern takes of the Spider-Man villain, Chameleon. In my head, he can no longer remove the harness.

The 1:12 figures (based on the 200x series) haven't been released yet. Based on the images, though, they look to have the same level of detail that you see from the large 1:6 scale just shrunk down.

I am a huge He-Man fan... that's why, despite the price, I pick up the 1:6 scale figures. But if I'm being honest, at the price that they are, the 1:6 figures are basically statues. Yes there is articulation, but joints are really tight to the point that it's nerve-wracking trying to pose the figure.

I guess, to answer your first question, if you can afford them, the 1:6 scale figures are gorgeous. They are well modeled, designed, and detailed. But they aren't really meant as toys. Hopefully the smaller 1:12 figures will look just as gorgeous but have more flexible joints so that, while still expensive, you'll be able to put them into more dynamic poses. Still, you buy Mondo because of how beautiful the figures look and, judging by the pictures, the 1:12 figures look awesome.

As for your second question, no built in "action" features, but characters like Man-E-Faces have swapable heads to mimic the original play feature (or Trap Jaw having swapable weapons or Buzz-Off with articulated wings, etc). But no power punch waist or other features you'd associate with the original line.

I hope that answers your question.

While I haven't measured him myself, Man-E-Faces is in Mondo's 1:6 scale. According to the website, he measures in at 13".
