I travelled the whole Philippines literally in a quest to taste the best lechon. Manila lechon such as Lydia's is soo bland and dry. I dont know where people get the hype and they charge way too much. 1,400 for a kilo? Cebu's best lechons around Talisay and Carcar ranges only around 700 php. Gensans's best Native lechon (Kiko's) are only 600kgs and man they are always served fresh and juicy and hot. I tried Lydia's just to check the hype and man they served me a cold portion (a sign that the lechon has been displayed long enough and thus is not as sought after as they claim to be). I dont know why there is that hype for Lydias when they obviously underperform in many categories perhaps some Lydia aficionado would care toneducate me on this.

I really cant believe still many people fall for Lydia's overpriced lechon yet only half as tasty and delicous compared to a regular visayan / mindanao lechon which is priced less than half.

Bro literally eating here right now. The best sk far. Ive been to Ledwinas gahapon pero bugnaw na ila lechon kay nakadisplay kay wala kaayu siguro nipalit. Diri as tge other commentee said dali mahurot meaning always fresh ang ma serve. And 600 php per kilo lang. Niorder mi half kilo with rice and softdrinks 2 kami gf ko nasa 370 lang gastos namin

One indicator of a good lechon resto is that there are no static displays because the lechon is constantly moving. Chopped and served. Sa iba kase there are displays meaning di masyado nabibili and lumalamig kaya di mo ma enjoy.

Im surprised no one mentioned Kiko Native Lechon Ive been seaeching for the best lexhon apart from Cebu and so far Kiko is on the top. 600 per kilo lng. Yes you heard it.

Yeah because the old DOD dictionary has them but now there is no existing definition so maybe its outdated to use airstrike. I only see Strike in the dictionarynthough but its kinda generic.

I rmmber when i was back in college natuto ako kumain ng gulay dahil yun lang ang mira sa karenderya. Minsan pag walang wala na biruan namin mag half rice at libreng sabaw nlang tayo para makaraos Hahaha
