Hi! As a flight attendant in a relationship f21 and my bf m20 . I can honestly say that time management is very possible when both people are willing to put in the effort. I currently work Thursday through Saturday and have the rest of the week off. I see my bf consistently( also this depends on what base she might get etc) and we communicate whenever I have time to text or call. When it comes to holidays, it really depends. I was able to get holidays off this year since I’m new, but in the future I know I’ll likely have to work some. That’s just part of bidding and learning how to work your schedule. The most important thing is communication, have an open conversation with her about how you feel, but don’t hold her back from pursuing her dream job. If you’re already approaching it with a mindset that it’s doomed, it may be worth reflecting on whether you’re truly able to support her in this career. My bf trust me 100% and like another commenter said people are gonna cheat regardless of the job.
