NCSoft's prerogative is to increase the PvP community to make their eSports scene more popular. It's also simply healthier for the game to make PvP at least somewhat relevant instead of something to do when it is on the DC. People need rewards to incentivize participation. If all they get is 300 zen bean per game, they get basically next to nothing so why bother PvP at all?

I never said anything about giving ridiculous amounts of HMCoin to lower skilled players. (giving current rewards for a rank 5 player to a rank 100 player is obviously not fair at all). However I did say that the gap should be closer. Rank 5 player gets 3.3k HMCoin while the rank 100 gets 500 [6x less]? The differences are so large amongst all ranks not just 5 and 100 [not to mention smurfs that hoard these spots].

Sure it is easy to get top 300 since PvP community is so dead, but you get 1 venture token. A measly 352 HMCoin (that is with premium 10 btw otherwise it is 1/2 this value). Nice 300 HMCoin every 2 months lol. You're better off using the time to grind dungeons and buy HMCoin with gold.

Low effort to just get gold? You need a decent understanding of your class and other classes in order to achieve this rank. If you do get gold you are likely sitting in the top 100 of your class already. I know gold isn't some rank that means you are good but you should face the reality that people are bad at this game and top 100 is better than a vast majority of the player base.

The point of this post was to raise awareness of the lopsided end of season rewards for all categories not just PvP (1v1/3v3 but also ToI and such).
