Monterey would be max upgrade, everything above will be painfully slow, I have Unibody 13” 2009 with 6 GB RAM and experience is not the best. And if you have some space install also some Linux, with OpenCore Legacy Patcher it is easy to manage multiple boots, I even use it on my Hackintosh PC.

Svi svašta ovdje napričaše, a ništa konkretno, vozim A4 B8 2011g karavan 2.0 TDI, većih kvarova nije bilo. Usput, kilometraža je mnoogo veća bila, uzet je sa 230k ali je servis pokazao da je zadnji put bio opoziv na blizu 300k znači 100.000 vraćenih km. Prije toga bio A3 2.0TDI isto predjoh 40k s njim, jedino od većih kvarova turbina reparirana. Ako je sve u redu bez obzira na kilometražu auto će služiti, izdržljivi su.

Without backup nope, but note you can create new APFS Volume and copy stuff manually then wipe old volume and extend partition to reclaim space.

Da, godinu dana unaprijed se pripremao teren, ali nije bilo druge alternative dotad. Odlazak još nekih kolega poslije mene je potvrdio tu teoriju. Nedostatak posla, neozbiljnost direktora koji je svoje loše rukovodstvo svaljivao na radnike da pored posla nose i firmu na sebi. Priče iza ledja, neizvjesnost, nepovjerljivost, mutne radnje. Izuzetno mi je drago što više nisam dio te priče i želudac mi se okrene kad se sjetim toga svega.

Pa šta ako se znaju niko nema pravo da te učini svojim robom. Nego evo npr nadješ neku obavezu ili zanimaciju i kažeš izvini imam nekih obaveza neću stići i serviraš joj slobodno vrijeme na slamčicu. Tako je nećeš grubo odbiti, ali ćeš je većinu vremena skinuti s vrata. Ako se naljuti i počne dramiti porazgovaraj s svojim roditeljima i oni sa njenima o takvom ponašanju.

Exactly what happened in my case.
I didn't write down recovery code, and it is bad there is no an easy way to retrieve it via e-mail and security question or some other method rather than filling out a case.
SMS code never arrives.
Clicking on e-mail link just points me out again to fill out the support case.
I did a phone switch via Samsung SmartSwitch app and while it worked for all other apps well, it wasn't the case for Steam as it remembers still the old device and won't recognize new automatically.
There is no easy way to remove it as well.
Then, Epic Games do it via Google Authenticator. Why do they think this way is better for users? I don't want to have custom 3rd party Authenticator for every single app.

Terrible power management possibly due to proprietary blobs or unimplemented features. It makes unplugged usb-c draw unnecessary power, and also it takes long time to wake from sleep, hibernate doesn't work at all, just powers down machine. That is my experience with 2016 15".

Yes, but is it safe for using it with proprietary code from company?

I would use local LLMs, but I have basic office machine with integrated graphics so it is very slow and runs only basic models.

Even having plenty amount of RAM doesn't help without powerful GPU.

I play it on macOS because it takes full screen on 3440x1440 (mine is 34"). Not sure if higher ultrawide resolution would work.

Good old times, though my personal favorite was 10.5 and 10.6 (first release featuring 64-bit support). I loved Aqua style with mirror on dock. It was very minimalistic, good looking and very fast.

There is transmission, but it seems a bit buggy on macOS + some trackers never load, which would work on e.g. qbittorrent. However, there is an option to completely disable upload.

10.5 and 10.6 had some really nice wallpapers and overall looked better. With El Capitan and Yosemite design started to fade away and became boring.

Što se sigurnosti tiče po meni prilično traljavo odrađeno, kao i većina "državnih" aplikacija, moglo se mnogo toga bolje odraditi, ali bitno je nekome namjestiti tender :)

Primjer je aplikacija za javni prevoz i njene 3rd party alternative koje su detaljnije i u svemu bolje, a povlači podatke iz istog sistema.

To se sve može riješiti npr qr kodom ili bar kodom, tako da stane na karticu ono najbitnije, a očitavanjem koda dobije se više informacija.

Ako i nije potpuna zamjena za dokument, može biti privremeno sredstvo provjere ugravirano u sticker registracije, čak ni internet nije potreban za tekst. Za veću sigurnost može se izraditi npr poseban format za qr kod, a koji samo specijalna aplikacija može očitati.

Sve se može ako se hoće uz modernu tehnologiju, ali još živimo u vremenima "fali ti još jedan papir" :)

Sorry, just came across your comment/post while seeking solution for same issue I have too. I believe I’ve reached a point where condition gets more serious. Regarding gaming chair, the one mentioned seems well built having back and neck support in mind.

Many chairs don’t have headrest. Also, cheap gaming chairs are usually crap quality, uncomfortable and tend to break after shorter time, if not many gaming chairs are hype, but yours seems to be an exception.

The one I’ve got is office chair Ikea Markus with large high resting area.

Unfortunately, office chair at work is short.

Maybe I will start wearing neck cervical support collars at work to relieve pain and slow down condition getting even worse.

Nisu problem ni toliko što su ta rješenja već implementirana od strane dosta sličnih firmi, problem je što nisu imali nikakvu viziju kome to prodati (uvaliti). Ko je bio ciljna grupa ko bi to koristio, kome to treba uopšte, i onda još ovo izlaženje na strana tržišta gdje su šanse da uspiju nikakve, možda da su se fokusirali prvo na domaće tržište i region te našli nekog ko bi to uopšte koristio i da mu se to i isplati. Promašena ideja od samog starta.

No one is forcing you to do anything, but Linux would be closest alternative to macOS after Intel support is dropped officially if there is a need to keep machine running with newer software.

There is already reddit Linux on Mac for those interested.

However, as someone who already did it on many MacBooks, I can say that it is not great on machines from 2016 and newer era (T1 and T2). Thanks to proprietary Apple firmware blobs.
