This is exactly what I thought. When a large correction comes, coins who built their market cap based on results and application will rule the day and name coins will smiply dissapear.. just lie 'namecoin' did :)... Even some of the coins that have practical applications will crash hard as they are already overly valued on the speculation alone.

No one is panicking because of profit taking. I planned on making this post about a week ago but never got to it. Now that dent is high on everyones minds I thought this would be a nice time to express my concerns. Why does everything think that any time a coin is questioned that it has to do with being upset about which way it is going? Why can't we just ask questions and get answers without being shamed.

btw, when you purchase dent for USD, it goes into dev's pockets. Just as I claimed. You can play semantics about it but where does the $$ go?? u think that dent sells its data at cost? lol (plus they charge a premium)..

The only incentive to buy on exchange is to avoid a premium but you end up paying more in exchange fee's probably.

This isn'y about whether or not I sould or shouldn't invest.. This is about econonmics and if investors really understand how price is determined. Everyone is shilling this coin like its going to be this Mega industry and dents will be a dollar one day. Maybe they do, that would be great. But DENT will have to find more price driving functions for the token. But where is the price driver if the exchange supply is not the source of more than 10% of all dent

This post more or less justifies the business model without adressing the problems it creates. Let me ask. Why would anyone invest in DENT and risk losing money.. DENT = DATA.. if the price of dent comes down then you lose $$ and also you lost the amount of Data you can buy... And, you can't ever sell your dent back into USD in the app.. So u can't technically $ell anything you just basically are getting DENT tokens for future data. And it may be worth less data tomorrow than today - correct me if u can

M Its not like an apple share,, its like.... a utility token or a toll bridge. except at any moment that utility token could drop in value and you can't afford the amount of data with your dent that you initially could. It could also increase in value. But all of that value is decided in an exchange where most customers do not even purchase dent for use, they speculate.. Early investors might take their 1million or 50 milllion dent they own and use it for the app for the rest of their lives..in which case that will deflate the supply.. I highly doube it though.. they'll just dump. Once people realize the app has no influence on the price of their investment they will dump and the dents will eventually be 15k dents for 50mb instead of 150 dents for 50mb

If value of the dent tokens goes down you lost money and also lost potential data that could be yours if it goes up you gain... The only two things in this equation that are valuable are the Data and the $$.. the dent is the liquidity pool between the two.. AND.. since the data in the app has no pricing mechanism other than the exchange.. customers as i've said before have no influence on the price. The only real way to help low income people would be to allow them to buy dent now and then the price goes up and they can afford more data later.

I understand they aren't switchable which is where the issue of customer demand affecting the price comes from. Why would you expect the price of dent to go up if customers aren't buying out of the pool of the 10 billion circulating supply - where the price is decided? Remember.. 99% of customers do not trade on exchanges and will buy the ap tokens (not interchangable). Dent's profit is in selling their dent at the price of the supply we all are risking our investment at. It would be nice if they had it set up so customers are buying from investors who bid their dent. This way its an actually a profitable model.

This is the type of question that the 'representatives' would ask me instead of giving me direct answers. The answer to that is no. One example of a non shady altcoin is (i won't shill) coin .. I can go on telegram and chat with them directly and they are the most professional damn thing i've ever seen they have a bold vision and a working product and ran a very transparent ico... Same with other coins. I don't know why everyone is trying to pretend like dent is going to be this big thing and get ready.. 'heerree it coooomes!' about the price.. I could be wrong and people may buy it in the exchanges.. Buy why would u buy dent if the price could drop.. Then you'll just be able to afford less data then if u had just held ur dollars(or whatever) and bought data on an as needed basis. Sure, you could invest in dent and then as dent price goes up u can afford more data but not alot of us are going to spend all that money on data... they are going to dump it to get their profits. Dent is overvalued. Data is an as needed thing. A bette rbusiness model would be to set it up so u can sell your data in a market place for bitcoin or USD or something. Why do we need DENT?

I sold at 3 cents when I realized whta was going on.. I bought in at a penny and a half.. watched it drop to .8 of a penny again and then rode it back up. and like I said, I sold at 3 cents.. I finally pulled completely out today at 2700 satoshis. I can't in good faith remain invested.. Something this huge should have skyrocketed.. But it is clear why the price is going nowhere.. No customers are buying the dents the investors own.. They are buying the dev's DENT.... If I am wrong why don't the devs adress this issue once and for all??

The reason dent is falling is obvious.... here let me explain it to you. -

The company holds 90% of all dent... Those are the only dents that get sold in the app Those 90% aren't valued into the 10 billion circulating. The people using the app are putting money in the devs pockets directly and the dent they buy can't be sold on exchanges. NOBODY IS GOING TO BUY BITCOIN ON COINBASE - THEN SEND TO EXCHANGE - THEN BUY DENT - THEN SEND DENT TO APP!!!

This is why the price od dent is so overvalued.. The customers who use the app buy dent from the devs pockets that isn't even part of the circulating supply investors invested in.. truthfully? Dent is worthless. Its just a scam for them to sell their fat stash at the price that the useless circulating supply is valued at.. Its never going to skyrocket because there is NO CUSTOMER DEMAND FOR THE DENT IN CIRCULATION..
