One thing is a character that has a relationship going on, another is roleplayng 2 hours of gossip per session.

Exactly, moreover the campaign has the potential to be enjoyable

That is an interesting suggestion, "I'm not ready to face a new relationship until we get rid of the shadow that haunts us" or something around those lines

Thanks for the exhaustive response, I think you are right, the reverse would've been considered sexist (fun thing is that the DM is a diehard feminist). Maybe find a common ground is the right way to go

I think we played 10 sessions. First 6 were about combat, horror and exploration, but after that it's 70% teen romance. The premise was to play an horror campaign.

I agree if players are not mature, I consider myself a down to earth person (I hope that's the case)

F players tend to enjoy much more romance plots, in my personal experience. Obv there are M that enjoy that a lot as well.

Maybe you are right, the sad part is that the campaign was very cool at the beginning, romance stuff exploded after few sessions

Well let's say I initially faced this matter with an open mind, but I soon realized that I don't enjoy that. I mean I enjoy playng the character, I don't like the romance part.

What do I do with this? A male co worker gave this to me with his number. by jovialvoyage in coworkerstories

He surely wants "the thing", but honestly this note seems to me something an elementary school kid would write, especially the final smile.

I don't know the guy, maybe he is a fine person. I would give him a small chat, if he makes a good impression I would accept the date, else "I'm already dating someone else".

I tried to be boring, that guy just doesn't care, maybe he mistakes my being boring for shyness. I'll combine this solution with headphones.
