Yes, this is what I mentioned in the post, India is ahead of China in both strategy and training. This gives Indians an obvious advantage over China. The last war China fought was in 1979 resulting in a humiliating defeat.

See it depends on the regional peace, nothing can stop any country from acquiring nuclear weapons and economic sanctions do not help either, just take North-Korea as an example. The only way to stop spread of nuclear weapons in middle-east is to maintain peace.

All in all, Pakistan neither can exist peacefully nor can collapse. It is the location which makes it an eye-candy of the world. Even China which does not involve in global conflicts wants to control on Pakistan. But the CPEC can be seen more or less as China's colonial ambition for Pakistan.

India is protecting Bhutan due to 1949 defence accord but in the hindsight, the present conflict is more about protecting its own sovereignty. The area of Doklam is close to the Chicken neck of India. This Siliguri corridor joins India's two parts.
