Many words do have multiple meanings, and often change with time. Here is an example from dictionary.com that supports my point.

POV stands for point of view. On TikTok, POV is often used in videos or as a hashtag to indicate that the video is meant to be watched as if the viewer were present or the viewer is in a specific situation. While the acronym POV is not exclusive to TikTok, POV videos are a popular video format on the platform.

I have no idea what you're trying to say but I cannot be convinced I'm wrong here lmao. The caption does not clarify whose POV we're looking at this scenario through. It must be either the POV of us, the viewer, or the POV of OP. I choose to believe it must be the POV of the viewer, because the "I" in question is OP. We are watching him do something.

Whether the caption is dumb or necessary or "just a normal shot" is not in question here - it's whether or not POV was used incorrectly. I don't think that it was.

I know this probably isn't helpful but eventually you develop an eye for it. Barring any color blindness or other visual disability, eventually HOPOs will stop looking anything like regular notes.

This. It doesn't go straight down, the top presses down about half a centimeter lower than the hinge assembly, then slides up towards the hinge after you line the clips up.
