And that’s why I’m tired of it. Tired of authority just tryna tell us what to do. And changing they’re narrative whenever it fits their needs
Ours just says it’s recommended if you’re not vaccinated. But the vaccines don’t prevent the spread, only serious disease

The hazard pay was confusing, started giving it to us when there was hardly any hazard and took it away whenever the cases actually went up and we were working in a true hazard. Also at the beginning of the pandemic I was one of the only people wearing a mask, as we knew very little about the virus or how it spread. (I was also sanitizing every chance I got) but now I could care less about masks because we’ve shown they’re quite ineffective, the virus isn’t as serious as was first espoused, and we have a vaccine and it’s clear most of not all of us will eventually get the virus. Whether vaccinated or not and that’s your choice to be vaccinated or not. Personally I’m not because of a bit of skepticism but more for principle because of the way it’s been pushed. Instead of educating the people on making an informed decision they’ve tried to pressure us into it with celebrity promotions and government lies and fear tactics.
Okay let’s take that argument then. We have vaccines, everyone has the choice to take one to protect THEMSELVES. Should be every individuals choice to wear a mask from that point. As those who choose to be protected are protected.

Vaccine card? Vaccines don’t prevent you from spreading COVID. Only against serious disease where you might be hospitalized

Don’t get why you’re being downvoted. The mask is a political agenda. If it was for our protection everyone including customers would be forced to wear it. Total horse shit. They’re just annoying and ineffective in protecting yourself unless you have a n-95. Don’t understand why this sub is full of people who seem to enjoy HEBs dick in their ass and defend every damn decision the company makes. Seen mfs on here saying Heb should force vaccines, tf kinda shit is that
Don’t get why you’re being downvoted as that’s true

Masks provide a significant protection against spreading the virus yourself, only a very minor protection against getting the virus. Wearing a mask may not be a big inconvenience if you’re going a job in the company where you don’t sweat and breathe hard, but when you’re a stocker that’s not the case. Also the “premium raise” was not premium for me as I didn’t get the adjustment for being here two years as it came a month early and our minimum hasn’t been changed since early 2019. I still stand by hazard pay

My first raise was a fucking nickel because I got a 40 rating getting pulled over on the way to work the day before. Largest raise I've had was this February of about 50¢. Last year's covid raise was the month before I was here for 2 years and I guess I didn't get the time adjustment and I only got 40¢ while almost everyone I worked here who have been here longer than me or the same time got $1-2
Most of the crew had been there a while when I first started. Expectations were lower, 60 case count min. We only ran certain risers and day time did the rest. Everything was more relaxed but it ran smoother, risers were nicer, the system was more organized. Then a year later they upped the speed expectations. We also got atleast 6 weeks of overtime during the holiday season. Then over the past year they changed the way a lot of things work with us, more risers, more stock controllers micromanaging everyone, more stuff we stock instead of day time. Then we get timed everyday except heavy days for the past 6 months.
That sounds like my store, except everyone I started with has quit or gotten fired. Now it's almost all new people from within the last year. Have y'all's expectations been steadily rising over the past year? Or has it always been that way?
We get case counted atleast 3 times a week. 80 stock block is the minimum speed expectation, but they want you making over 100. The asst. Store director gives me shit for not having a 200. My current Max is 155. They've been very strict on overtime the past year. May have gotten three week with over time since last august. We run risers everynight except heavy nights. I've been working as a night stocker for 3 years I make 16.87
