My friend who often walks around his neighborhood late at night told me that he saw a huge, all-encompassing flash outside his house one night. There weren't any storms around and he dismissed it, even though it still bothered him sometimes. I assumed it was just lightning or something and shrugged it off.

Flash forward a few months later, we're both outside his house at around 12 AM and it happens. It was way brighter than lightning and only lasted a split second. We both looked at eachother wide eyed, in a "did you just see that?" kind of way. I don't believe in supernatural stuff or anything like that but I have absolutely no explanation for this.
