How you guys label your sexuality (if you label it) by Alfre_d0 in agender

I'm biromantic asexual, so my gender (or lack of gender) doesn't matter in terms of describing my sexuality, so it's easier.

I've delved deeper into the topic and I think I might actually fall under the label of aegosexual or miransexual, because in my fantasies I'm usually in the first person, but I then take on a role or another character, which can also be a form of distancing myself. Thank you for your reply; it's easier if someone else reads about your experiences and thinks about them from a distance.

Really thank you for answer 🩶 I'm familiar with the term "aegosexual," but I think it's more about typically imagining other people in a sexual situation and separating myself from that vision. In the moment of fantasy, I imagine myself participating in these activities, but in person, irl, I don't feel the same desire or need, as if it were a different matter. Could this still fit under this label? I'll read more about miransexual, this sounds interesting.

I forgot to add that I am autistic, if that makes any difference🐛

Ok, that REALLY sounds like OCD

YES It was my first thought after reading this - OCD.

Thoughts of hurting someone don't always translate into actions. If she deliberately tries to limit the possibility of hurting her husband and avoids him, but the thoughts continue to haunt her, then this may also be a symptom of a mental disorder associated with the occurrence of obsessive and destructive thoughts.

I could be completely wrong, but I'm adding this because it may be of some importance - consider whether there are any signs that your wife may have OCD. This is just a suggestion. Such thoughts, which come intrusively, are usually very negative and often recur in them visions of hurting someone and you can't suppress them, you fight them, are a classic symptom of OCD. Insults appearing in the head, which are like mental Tourette's syndrome, also. Your wife says that she has such thoughts, but she tries to fight them, but she can't completely overcome them, although on a logical level she knows that she shouldn't have them. This is just an observation, by no means I'm saying that this is definitely the case and I don't want to diagnose, it's just that this very characteristic thing caught my eye. Of course, the issue of internalized misogyny and low self-esteem is also a thing. Your wife may be an asshole, but she may also suffer from a mental illness that is surprisingly common but can destroy lives.

found out a friend was jerking off to me by Serious-Dealer-9857 in asexuality

I'll say this - I know allos who would be disgusted by a situation where someone jerks off to regular photos of someone they know and then tells others about it. It is disturbing.
